whats wrong with my transmission? I put it in gear no indicator light and every position feels like its in neutral

    This isn't a 4X4 is it? If so, check that the transfer case is not in neutral.

    Otherwise, you should scan the TCM for trouble codes. This may give you the lead you need here. Might be an issue with the Park Neutral Position switch (PNP switch).
