Hi. I live in Cleveland, OH. I'm looking at a 2106 GS350 with an MSRP of $54,810. I'd like to put down $2,500 and pay no more than $550 a month for 36/12,000. Is that reasonable or am I not even close?

.00060 and either 57% (RWD) or 55% (AWD).

Without knowing the negotiated selling price, we can't tell you if $550/mo is doable or not.

We don't have any incentive info for Lexus. Doesn't mean there aren't any, however.

So here is the deal that I'm being offered on a 2016 AWD GS350. List: $54,810. Adjusted Price $50,560. Total after fees and taxes $51,907.90. I'm putting down $3,500 for a payment of $622 for 36 months/12,000 miles/year. Is this a good deal?

March numbers show .00080 and 56% for 36/12.

With your MSRP and net cap cost, I get $655/mo before tax and $0 down.

How much of the $3000 is going to cap reduction? Each $1000 lowers the pre-tax payment about $28/mo.

What state and tax rate is this?

I live in Ohio. The sales tax rate in Cuyahoga county is 8%. I assume that all of my $3,500 is going to cap reduction. I will ask the salesman. As far as putting money down isn't it pretty much pay it now (money down) versus pay it later (higher payment). Is one better than the other?

Limited numbers for March ... 36/10 numbers are .00080 and 57%.

Not the same .. if the car is stolen or totaled during the lease, any down payment would be lost. Better to have the higher payment.

Hello, I am in Illinois and see there is the March Command Performance promotion on Lexus GS 350 for $499 with first month complimentary (up to $850), $3999 down and 36 mths 10,000 miles and MSRP of $54,360. When I run these numbers in Edmunds lease calculator using a MF of 0.00060 and 57% residual, I cannot come up with how they can offer $499? Could you help me understand? Thank you

$2775 dealer discount from MSRP.

I believe the ad assumes .00080 for the MF.
The $3999 is $3299 for CAP cost reduction and $700 for acquisition fee

Nope... I can't make it add up, either..

The Southern region has a special on the RWD model, and that adds up, perfectly. But, the Central region special does not. I get about $522/mo., using their numbers.. ;-)

I went through my neighbor who is an auto broker here in So Cal and just nabbed a 2016 GS 350 F-Sport with an MSRP of $58,885 for a little over $51k.

Note that none of the dealers I worked with were able to get anywhere close to that directly, but there are deals out there. It might be more limited in Central Cali given the lower competition between dealers.

That sounds like a great deal! Congrats! We're meeting with our dealer tomorrow, so we'll see how it goes. I think I would be happy with that sticker around $53,500-ish.

I'm pretty sure it's a rebate that must be used as CAP cost reduction.

It will be disclosed on the lease contract, but that doesn't mean they will tell you about it during negotiation. Assume any offer already includes it.

Acquisition fee is $700 for Lexus.

Use the "make / model / year" pull downs at the top of the page to link to the price tools .. that will give you the invoice, MSRP and TMV prices

There is an article here at Edmunds on holdback, but I can't seem to find it. It is several years old, so take any information with a grain of salt.

Don't expect to get any holdback money in your deal on a 2016, however.

Lexus numbers are regional ... and, we don't have all the regions. I do see that in the 'Western' area the MF is .00080.
