I just noticed the new CX-9 are available. Any mazda numbers available yet for Ohio region? Would prefer residuals and MF for all the AWD models for 36/12K/15K .

Waiting as well ;-)....there is quite a few in LA already. I am sure you can't get any deal on it yet, but I have 2 months before I really need to get into one.

Sport - 60%

Same numbers as quoted above, just add 3% to the 15K residuals if you want 10K per year.

Same MF, but slightly different residual; 36/15 numbers are as follows:

59% for Sport and Touring; 56% for GT.

No FWD version of the Signature trim.

Is it anticipated that the residuals and MF significantly improve for July or August? These intro June numbers are not very consumer friendly. One would think Mazda would immediately try and gain some market share against its competition and get more aggressive in its initial programs. As it is now, when comparing, say, the 2016 CX9 Touring AWD to the Toyota Highlander XLE AWD, its no comparison. MF is lower for the Toyota, and the residual value for the XLE AWD is 70%! Sure, the CX9 is brand new and very sharp looking. But the value just isn't there right now. Hard to beat current lease program of the Highlander.

Once available, please post July MF and Residual for both the CX9 Touring AWD and GT AWD 36mo/12k and 10k miles, in Buffalo, NY area 14221. Thanks.

No idea what the numbers might be like, next month. New program begins July 1st, though it may be after the Holiday weekend before we get the numbers.

I test drove a CX-9 Signature recently and it was very nice, however I am a bit biased towards Mazda since their features fit my preferences. I think the engine will be a turn-off to quite a few buyers in this segment. The previous CX-9 had a V6. While the current turbo SkyActive 4 cylinder has good pull especially at the low-end, it does fizzle high up in the RPMs. People shopping the Sport and the Touring models will probably think it's fine. However, people shopping the Grand Touring and especially Signature Models will definitely be concerned about the small engine given the $42k-$45k price tag. For some reason American buyers still equate a V6 with luxury and quality at this price point. I also think the smaller interior size versus competitor models will be an issue somewhat. You definitely trade sporty handling for utility.

I didn't even entertain negotiations, but the dealer said they were not discounting them on their end. But I believe Mazda OwnerLoyalty incentives still apply, if you qialify, which is about $1,250 right now (or was in June).

I ran some quick sample numbers based on NO DISCOUNTS AT ALL and a Signature model with an MSRP of $45,115 would run $604.00 per month before your local sales tax is included, with Acquisition Fee, First Payment, and Dealer Paperwork Fee still due at signing, which would be about $1,000. Yikes!!

Seems like the numbers got worse for July. Not a car for leasing at this point. At least not at GT and Sig level.

Touring trim is generally the sweet spot for most Mazda models.

I was offered $500 over invoice in So Cal, but without factory cash, the lease #'s are still a bit tough to swallow. Dropping from GT to touring goes from 20" to 18" wheels I think, removes the sunroof and auto on lights. adding the tech pack gives you the Nav, but is it worth the 3% RV?

3% of what MSRP? Let's say $40K. 3% is $1200 over the life of the lease, or about $33/mo over 36 months.

These are going to be expensive to lease until sales start to slow.

the 3% was referring to the RV between Touring and GT, We found a touring in the configuration and color we want, and they literally laughed us off the lot when we offered $500 over invoice.

I actually got this offer from Mazda in Temecula, the internet sales manager Paris was extremely cool and patient, cut through the crap, showed me their invoice and made me a great deal. At the last minute, wife was certain she wanted the Jag F-pace, so I ended up pulling out, but I'd strongly recommend the Temecula Mazda Dealer and Paris Ignelis.
