Sorry, California. Also do you happen to have 19k per year lease numbers as well? Ford has the option in ther build and configure online to include that many miles.

I am in Ohio looking at a Fusion Sport. Can you provide the RV and MF for a 24m/12k lease. I am looking at a car with sticker of 40260 and can buy it on xplan for 38385 before incentives. They quoted 600/mth with 0 down which seems high. Also what incentives does Ford offer at this time if you know? Thank you.

    Hello,
May I please have the MF and RV for a 2017 Platinum in Delaware?

    36 mos, 12k
    36 mos, 15k

Are the 39 month leases any better? I usually stay away from them but I know they sometimes have are a better sweet spot.

    Lease cash is 1,250, right?

Does anyone know if the Competitive Lease Conquest Rebate ($500) works on a lease for this car, and if it is stackable with the $1,250 lease cash?

    http://www.ford.com/cars/fusion/incentives/

1.Competitive Lease Conquest (30182) is available to customers that currently lease a competitive (non-Ford Motor Company) vehicle or have terminated a competitive lease up to 30 days prior to new retail delivery. We would need to know the adjusted cap cost. And, what does the $1250 at signing cover?

50% and .50%. $750 lease cash. These are from Ford Credit - confirm what bank your dealer is quoting the numbers from.

Michaell, thanks for all you do on these forums! I actually went into a Delaware dealership yesterday and they said the 36/15 MF was .50% not .25% - They said because they are in southern DE, they are part of the Baltimore market whereas northern DE is part of the Philadelphia market.

So, is there indeed a difference in money factor between Philadelphia and Baltimore? I had an absolute horrible experience yesterday and didn't walk away with a new Fusion...this money factor wasn't a deal breaker but just one more thing we were disagreeing on in the dealership, so I was just wanting to hear what you see on your end.

    Thanks so much!

    Hi,

I am getting following lease deal on 2017 Ford Fusion Energi SE. Please let me know if this looks good or i could do better.

    MSRP - $35185
    Dealer Discount - $4085
    Adjusted Cap Cost - $25377.17
    Acq Fee - $695
    Gross Cap Cost - $31975
    Rebate - $6757
    Residual Value - $14778
    Total Payment - $325.47
    Doc Processing/EVR/Tire Fee - $117
    Dealer Discount + Rebate - $10842.
    MF - 0.25%

With $1000 down, monthly its $325 + tax
with $2000 down, monthly its $296.80 + tax

I don't want to do any down payment. What would be a good price with tax in that case?

Was thinking of negotiating to $300 or $325 with tax and $0 down. Will that be a good deal?

    Please advise!

    Thanks

With that adjusted CAP, I get $299/mo.+tax.
But, it's hard to see what's included in the adjusted CAP, and what isn't, because nothing adds up, exactly.

Given those numbers, 325/mo. including tax, with just $800 due at signing seems reasonable (1st payment and DMV fees).

    Thanks!

I have a couple of lease questions if you can help out. Visited a dealer yesterday for test drive. They didn't have the exact model I liked but went through a quote on a similar model. I don't have a copy of the quote but these are the numbers from my memory for an SE with Tech and Luxury packages, 36months, 15k miles:

    $34k msrp
    $33k List
    $30k invoice
    $29k 2k miles discount
    Final price: $26k with incentives
Comes out to about $388/mo with $0 down

1.) Does that seem right? Residual is based off invoice right?

By my calculations, 47% residual means residual value is $14k. So if final price is $26k, then I'm paying off $12k during a 36 month lease which comes out to about $333/month payment. Right?

2.) And the dealer said they put 2k miles on their cars before selling it so they can offer a further discount. Is that normal?

0.50% APR and 47%/49% residual for SE/Titanium. $3000 lease cash

Residual is based on the sticker price. So, 47% of $34K, or roughly $16K. Therefore, the depreciation is about $275-280/mo, before rent charge and tax.

I would say that putting 2000 miles on every new car is not normal. If these are demo cars, then the residual is often adjusted downward to account for them. Yes, the selling price is reduced further, but it sort of washes out, in the end.

Got it. .5% is pretty low! I get a money factor of .000002.

    Here's my example:

    MSRP $34,000.00
    Residual 47%
    Invoice $30,000.00
    Negotiated selling price $29,000.00
Residual Value $15,980.00 Value at end of lease
    Incentives $3,250.00
Net Cap Cost $25,750.00 final price including incentives
Depreciation $9,770.00 Cap cost minus residual value = cost of lease
Monthly Base payment $271.39 Depreciation dived by 36
Interest $0.08 Net cap + residual * money factor
    Payment with Interest $271.47
    Tax $25.11
Final cost per month $296.58 Base with interest and tax

That interest comes out to $.08 per month. Something is wrong. I'm adding Net cap + residual and multiplying by money factor of .000002 (.5% * 2400)

    Am I calculating wrong?

Got it, thanks! Using this formula I got from Edmunds, and the numbers he gave me, I get $306/mo as final cost with interest and tax. Kind of a far cry from the $388 he quoted me. I put this in a spreadsheet so I can just plug in the numbers as we negotiate.

The only variables are the cap cost and the MF. Confirm the cap cost you've given me - it's likely the dealer is using a higher number. If so, find out what the dealer is adding to it.
