MSRP is $32,635
Adjusted Sale price is $26,385

The $3400 is for a $2k down payment, $595 lease acquisition fee, $600 dealer pre-delivery service fee and the first month's payment. Numbers may not be exact, but close.

I get $285/mo, before tax, with those prices. The $2K will reduce the pre-tax payment about $56/mo.

We suggest not making the down payment - that money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled before lease end. Save it to help with the higher payment.

What state and tax rate is this?

Thank you so much. It's Tampa, FL and the tax rate is 7% And thank you for the advice about not making the down payment. Makes a lot of sense. They've given me an offer sheet with a payment ranging from $250-$255 a month depending on my credit with the rates stated.

Just the $2K - no problem paying the fees up front, though you could roll those into the lease as well, leaving just the first payment due at signing.

That's how I've structured my last two leases.

Thank you again, last question. When you said you get $285 a month before taxes and then you stated the $2k down would save $56 a month. Were you saying if I do put $2k down, my payments should be $285 minus the $56, so $229 plus taxes? I just want to make sure I'm following. And I am going to try and just pay the upfront costs. Just wondering if they were doing the bad math trick on me.

Yes, $229/mo plus tax with the $2K down included. $285/mo plus tax with just fees paid up front.

Those numbers are almost correct for the V6 Base.

39/10 residual is also 54%, this month. Everything else is right.

Location: Long Island, New York

2016 TLX V6 (no packages) MSRP: 35,400 (I believe).
Lease Terms: 10K miles per year, 36 Months, 2150 up front (taxes + plates + bank acquisition)
Monthly: 245 ( I got lots of incentives )

To buy out the car at the end of lease: $21,400

Is that a good price or not to buy out the car, can it be negotiated. This is a first time I have got a car and I do not know much. I would totally appreciate you guys guiding me.

I had a question. I am already almost a year into my TLX lease and was just curious about something. I was going through my lease agreement as I was putting some papers away and was confused as to what the rent charge means? Is that the same as the money factor? I qualified for tier 1 credit with Acura and at the time I signed up for the lease, my MF was around 1.68%. Why is my rent charge $1344.60 or roughly 10 percent of my monthly lease payment? Thanks!

The rent charge is the finance portion of the lease. The money factor, adjusted CAP cost and residual amount are used to calculate the monthly rent charge.

.00070 MF? 1.68% is the equivalent APR. (that's Annual). That percentage isn't applied to your lease payment, it's applied to an average of your CAP cost and residual.

Example: $35000 CAP, $20,000 residual, Average $27,500.
So multiply $27,500 X 1.68% X 3 years.

I bet that comes out pretty close.
