  You need to be polite and insist they give you the adjusted cap cost - without it, we can't run the numbers ourselves.
  
  If they continue to be less than forthcoming, it may be time to work with a different dealer.

  The money factor is proving to be a bit more elusive. One dealer told me 0.00114 (2.7%) while another gave me 0.000625 (1.5%).
  I'd love to know if ford is really offering 0.25% APR for the lease. That would be fabulous.

  Be polite and tell them you won't sign a deal with a marked up MF. They know what the base rate is - if they balk, contact another dealer.

  52% residual is correct.
  
  I don't have VA, but virtually every other region shows 0.25% APR, with $1750 lease cash for top tier credit.
  
  Might try shopping another dealer.

  Explorer XLT AWD w 202A and few other options: Ecoboost engine
  -MSRP 43K and
  - negotiated Price 37500
  -1500$ first day payment (including 1st month)
  -36/10500 in Massachusetts.
  
  considering the current Ford MF and residuals and offers for 12/2016,
  what are the monthly payments i should expect? (does it include the excise tax?)

  I'd confirm the full breakdown of the $1500 due at signing and the adjusted cap cost - if the latter number is different from your negotiated price, find out what's been added.

  I just received an initial quote from a local dealer. I wanted an XLT with 201a, but looking at the MSRP, I think they gave me a quote for 202a package. I understand that 201a are limited in stock and majority of inventory are 202a or above. I have not responded back yet as I feel that I have much to negotiate the monthly payment down. To get the idea of where the payment should be I would like to ask your advise on what you think about the offer.

  I was considering lease but figured buying is better, given my location (VA) and bad residual (increasing total cost of Lease for 36 months).
  
  How did I do?
  
  MSRP was 55,620 (including 945$ Freight).
  Vehicle market value was 51,643
  Ford Rebates were 2750
  Vehicle subtotal ended up being 48,400
  taxes, tags, fees 3000
  
  Out of the door 51,400; no extended maintenance or warranties purchased.

  Would have to be about another $700 off that sale price to get it down to $399/mo.
  
  Hard to compare it to the lease cost of another car. Unlikely that the lease programs would be similar.
  
  It does look like you might have some room to negotiate, however.

  It doesn't look good to me. If you have top tier credit, the rate should be 0.25% APR, not 2.25% APR.
  That markup alone adds $70/mo.+tax to your quote.
  $500 accessories? Those get paid at full price. No residualization to offset the cost.

  Curious on MF and Residual on a XLT and Limited 36 and 39 month lease at 10,500 miles in Tennessee. Swaying between 4x4 and 2wd if that makes a difference as well.

  Hi. I am looking at a 2017 Explorer Sport in OH. MSRP is $51,775 and the Dealer's Internet Price on their website is $46,750. I am interested in a 36/15k lease. Assuming I just purchase the car for the advertised price, what is the appropriate payment? I am being quoted $609 but think they may be excluding the $1750 lease cash. I only want to pay the taxes/fees upfront. Thanks, guys. Merry Christmas.

  The purchase price might include incentives that aren't compatible with the lease program (maybe, even larger than the $1750 lease cash).
  
  0.25% APR and 53% residual
  
  If the CAP cost is the same as that online price, then $544/mo.+tax.
  
  If they are quoting a monthly payment, ask for the sale price and adjusted CAP cost.

  Looking to Looking to lease a 2017 XLT, minimum 202A package or Sport in Honolulu. Can someone provide the Rate/Money Factor, residual value (for both models), 36mo, 10k per year. Also, has anyone had experience with dealers honoring or beating corporate discount X-plan rate? X-plan discount is about $2300 off MSRP. Thanks

  Thanks Michaell. So here's what I go back so far on a 2017 sport. MSRP $46,800. Negotiated Price $44,391, Rebates $2,250, fees: registration $419.10, Doc fee $295, ATP fee $195, Acquisition $645. 36mo, 10k $0 down. They are saying payment is $565.44. Math seems way off. What is due at signing an What should my monthly be? According to Edmunds $512 with tax. I used a different calculator its telling me around $460. A little confused.

  Plan is to pay all fees at signing. I'd need to go back and ask if what fee are included.  On the worksheet I was given it just listed the 44,391 first, then rebates, fees etc. had amounts for 0 down =565, 5000 down= 419, 2500 down= 492.

  Can anyone help, I am looking to lease in the greater Philadelphia area a 2017 Ford Explorer Sport White 401(a) package with dual moonroof and adaptive cruise control option. 36 months with 20,000 per year. MSRP $52,705 negotiated price with incentives and rebates $47,140. Residual was 50% and money factor was 0.25. $1000 due at signing and 35 monthly payments of $682. Is this a good deal? Seems high

  Just about the whole country has 0.25% APR, but Hawaii could be higher, or the dealer could be marking it up, due to lack of competition. We don't have the actual numbers for Hawaii.

  I get around $585/mo.+tax... but, that's using the negotiated price as the CAP cost. I'm guessing you have other fees and charges on top of that, since your due at signing is only $1000.
