Hi Michaell....I am new to the forum and was following the post and price of the Chevy Equinox. Last Friday, I leased a 2017 Chevy Equinox LT here in California. I wanted to know if the deal they gave was good. The finance department stated they I got an excellent deal and thought so to. Below is the info. Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Term: 24 months
Mileage: 12,000 per year
Down Payment: Zero Down and zero drive off
Payment: $210.72 including tax

Vehicle Price 26,692.20
Acquisition Fee 595.00
Capitalized Cost Reduction 4,484.71

That is a sweet deal! Only way of improving it without qualifying for additional conditional incentives would be if you were a Costco member and snagged the $700 gift card!

Looking for 36/15k MF and residual... are there drawbacks to doing 24m? I've always done 36, but the thought of 24 sounds like it may be possible. Does a 24m/15k exist? I'm concerned that 12k may not be enough.

Usually, the 24 month term will come with a substantially higher payment, but it depends.

Hi

I am trying to get Equinox AWD LT for around $200-220/month in Metro Detroit area for 24 months/12k miles. I can get GM Supplier price and currently have year end expiring GMC lease.

When I went to the dealer, the best I could get was $260/month for AWD LT with some convenience package (MSRP was $30,3XX) with $770 due at the sign-in. When I checked his detailed quote, he said the MF was 64% with rebates totaling $3950 or so.
Based on what is shown here, is my MF correct or is different because of AWD?
What is MF for 24 month/12K miles for this vehicle?

We show .00070 MF and 65% residual for 24/12.

But, dealers can't alter the bank's residuals. We only have GMFinancial numbers, they could be using another bank. Or, it might be a different lease program, to take advantage of all those rebates.

$260/mo. with $770 due at signing on a $30K MSRP vehicle seems pretty darn cheap for 24/12.

I will probably look for LS AWD (the dealer said he does not have LS vehicles tagged with additional discount but said he might have some next week or so) to bring down the monthly lease payment but good to hear that the numbers add up. Also, I need to check with him if he waived $595 Acquisition fee (for a slight bump in MF).

On a 24 month term, it might pay off to have the acquisition fee waived, in exchange for the bump. It rarely works out for longer term leases. You have to do the math, though.

I closed on 1/3/17 and got an LT with no options except cargo closeout panel, MSRP $27,780. Sale price was $25,587 but they add taxes back to get to a gross capitalized cost of $26,381. Out the door for $464 and $129/month for 12K 24 months.
