Looking for figures for Ford Escape 2017 SE in Upstate NY.

Ford Escape 2017 SE. Base Price $27745. Dealer discount $3250.
Lease ($1750 down): $335 pm. Residual - $15759. MF - 0.00025 (3 Years, 10.5k miles)

B. I also have a quote for 2017 RAV4 XLE AWD with sunroof. Base Price $29843. Dealer discount $972.
Lease (no down except 1st payment + DMV fee): $259 pm. Residual - 19390. MF - 0.00045 (3 Years, 10k miles).

Out of these which one looks good. Thanks

1.00% APR and 55% residual.
$2000 lease cash
Given the numbers we have, $335/mo. with $1750 upfront looks pretty high.

Toyota:
65% residual. We don't have your area, but MF is .00010-.00055 range.
Either way, looks like a lot better deal than the Escape.

I live NY, NY.. also looking at the Escape 2017 Titanium with all the lease incentives being offered. I read the very helpful threads above. Is the residual and APR set on an annual basis/monthly basis... or does it fluctuate throughout the year? For the 2017 Escape Titanium.... is it still the same currently? For 36 months / 10.5k miles per year... .still 59% and 1% APR? Is the info posted anywhere official that I can point to when in the dealership trying to negotiate? All of this is very helpful - thx v much

For the Titanium, I show 55% and 1% APR. $2000 lease cash.

Ford numbers are valid until 1/3/17

Residuals are updated quarterly, APR and incentives can change monthly.

Our information is confidential - if the dealer is marking up the MF/APR, tell them politely you won't sign the deal. They know what the base rate is.

And, there are lots of Ford dealers to choose from. Only takes one to meet your numbers.

The APR is regional, and, you are correct, we don't have the MA numbers. I picked the region closest.

Could very well be .75%, but, call a few other dealers to confirm.

What is the Residual and MF for NE Ohio (Canton)? I was quoted $267 payment including 6% sales tax on an SE model with a 24K MSRP. This is with 1,000 down and 1,000 trade.

Hi Kyfdx,

Wish you a very happy new year 2017. I went to Ford dealer yesterday to get a quote for 2017 Escape SE AWD and he gave the following quote and I can get x-plan price for the vehicle and despite $5000 rebates, the monthly payment was over $300 for 24 months lease.
Could you please help and review and see if these numbers add up. I believe he used 2.0% interest rate and am not sure about the residual.

What state is this?

24 month leases are generally not as good as 36 months. More payments in which to spread out the fees and such.

Also, due to lack of time, I could not spend too much time looking for a deal this holidays. Currently, I have Terrain lease for around $210 (12k, 24 month lease) and I extended it by 6 months.

I'm showing 1% APR for in Ohio - don't have the MI numbers.

61% residual for 24/12.

.5% and 54% for 36/12.

And, I only see $2500 lease cash. I know MI often runs specials for auto company employees.

I don't see an MSRP on the paperwork - do you know what that is?

Yes Michael, MSRP is on the paper and is $28765 and x-plan discount is $1060. He said that there is a/z/x plan customer cash of $2500.

I was confused by the term "Selling Price".

Using your numbers, I get $294/mo before tax for 24 months, assuming the 2% APR. If it's 1%, the payment drops to $277/mo.

Thank You. Local dealer quoted me $398 for a Titanium MSRP of $34080 with $980 down (inception). I'm coming up with $381.85. I did not add any tag, doc or title work, So maybe that bring it up another $16 a month. To me it looks like they're trying to sell to me @ sticker price.
Also online shows $2,250 in lease cash, Does Vincent report show $3,000?

SE and Titanium are both 52% residual for 36/12.

$381/mo. would be sticker price minus the $3000, but what about tax?

Hi,
Im looking at leasing a AWD Titanium in NY for 36 months with 15k miles per year. The one I have a payment quote on has only all season mats ($75) with a total MSRP of $31820. I am 1400 upside down on my trade so that is rolled into the payments. I am getting a quote of $434/mo with $1000 due at signing. (all in, tax, dmv. inception, and payoff of my trade). I have an appointment on Monday to sign the papers but I am doing the math and it doesn't make sense to me. Of course the salesman conveniently forgot to tell me the selling price when he responded to my email. Here's my math and why I think something is not right:

On Ford's website: lease on SE AWD for 36 mos/10,500 miles is $3913 due at signing and $169/mo...that comes to a total of $9997 (plus dealer fees($70) and MV (transfer $165) and tax) So I figure with zero out of pocket, that is roughly $278/mo

I figure the msrp difference between the SE and Titanium is $4000, which at 50% residual means roughly $60/mo, plus roughly $30/mo for the difference between 10,500 and 15k miles should put me about $368/mo, plus $40/month added for my trade, tax of roughly $36/mo, and $7/mo mv and dealer fees for a total of $451. If this math is correct, I figure with my $1000 at signing, my payments should be roughly $421.

It also looks like the advertised lease program on the SE AWD ($3913 at signing and $169/mo) is based on a non discounted sticker price, but Im figuring I should be getting about $1400 off of sticker based on the TMV.

I know there is a lot of information here, but am I making an error somewhere in my math, or is the dealership hiding something?

I did receive a tier 1 approval and I know the lease program is for tier 0 and tier 1.

We don't know the selling price or CAP cost on the website deal, so really, nothing to work with, there.
There are too many variables to even guess.

Why don't you contact the dealer and ask them for the numbers?

Just an update, I found out the dealer was selling at $31k, a whopping $820 off of sticker. I told them where to go!!, so the search continues!

Just wanted to say thanks for all of your help. Signed the papers today at another dealership. AWD Titanium with Nav for less than the crooks I was dealing with before without nav. $32615 sticker --- rolled in $1000 upside down from my trade. 36mo/15k $500 total at signing, $440/mo including tax.

Very happy camper and appreciate your help! And I like the truck too!
