The money factor is used in the calculation of the finance portion of the lease payment. It's similar to interest on a loan. .00083 MF is roughly equivalent to 2% APR.

I tried to check the quote I got but it seems high to me. Can someone check it out. I know there are some fees I don't want to pay but before I go back to them I want a better understanding. TLX 4 cyl with tech pkg. 36m/12k lease

The lease cash is likely accounted for in the discounted selling price.
The math all looks good.
The only item of note is that $699 doc fee, which is ridiculous. But, just consider the selling price as $699 higher than their quote.
Not sure what the "msrp after discount" might mean, but the residual is definitely based on the other number.

If you want to lower the payment, the selling price is the place to negotiate. No point in arguing the doc fee.. Just tell them you want a $700 lower price to make up for it.

Without knowing the MSRP and adjusted cap cost, we can only guess how good that deal is.

We do suggest, however, limiting your up front cash to the first payment and DMV costs.

Whoops, missed that.

The residual is for 45,000 miles. Extra miles are deducted from the calculated residual - check with the dealer for the per mile rate (likely .10-.25)

I know typically it makes no sense to pay upfront the entire payments for a lease in case it is lost, stolen or totaled. However if i was to make one upfront payment and purchase GAP insurance, would that fully eliminate the interest (MF) paid? If I am paying $30/ mo in interest but GAP insurance is only $10/ month, wouldn't that save $20/ month or $720 total?

Yes, that would be correct. Audi, however, imposes a minimum MF of .00005 on their leases.

Monthly pymts at $494. They put the residual at $18,034 (45.8%). Again it was 36mo/75,000mi.

Numbers look right or did I mess up on saving a few more bucks? Thoughts?

Looks solid - I get right around $500/mo with those numbers.

Given all the miles you drive, it's about as good a deal as you'll find.

Cap Cost- 32,600 (includes 3k in conquest cash) Residual- 56%
MF- .00083
Cap Cost Reduction- $750 loyalty cash
CT tax of 6.35%

Only fees and first months payment upfront.

The only item I didn't understand was that even though it is a 39mo lease is still only get 36k miles, whereas I though it would be 39k (12k a year for 3.25 years). $312 a month Please let me know what you think.

I would confirm the miles.

The cap cost reduction was actually $2,250 which was supposed to cover first months payment, fees and include $750 in loyalty cash. I don't believe acquisition and conveyance fees were included in the cap cost. I am starting to think they might have messed up or double counted either the 3k or 2.25k cap cost reductions. Either way I am going to assume if I can get this 39/12 for $312 a month I should sign right away?
