My friend want to lease a e-golf.
First of all it is better to go with 2015 or 2016 to get the better final price considering their different MSRP?
Second, considering the truecar price as the final price, what incentives are available for each year model and each configuration.
Also please provide the MF and Residual for 36 months lease with lowest mileage.

2) Dealer telling me that their Truecar price offer which is 26000 (MSRP is 29815) already includes the $1250. Is it right or that $1250 is after final negotiated price? What is the reason of this $1250 off?

And one more thing, a dealer is telling me that we need to pay Tax on $7500 credit, so it is actually is around $6100. I am pretty it is not true but there is no harm in checking it with you. Is there any tax!?!?!? on this $7500 credit?

The 2016 SE and SEL have the same lease program

I have no idea what the Truecar price includes.... you'd have to ask them.

The $1250 is a dealer incentive on leases for that model.

VW extended the July program through today, so no new numbers, yet.

There is $3250 dealer cash, in addition to the $7500.

We've heard that VW does do MSDs, but have no details.

I can't seem to find the November numbers for the e-Golf.

The $7500 cash is the pass through of the federal tax credit, which goes to the bank in the event of a lease.

$7500 zero emissions bonus and $3500 lease bonus.

So, do you qualify for the college grad incentive? The loyalty program? If not, then add another $50/mo to the lease

Notice, also, that all fees and taxes are excluded. So, either pay them up front, or add them into the lease and have the payment increase some more. Then, add CA sales tax on top of the end monthly payment.

This isn't an offer, it's an advertisement. Draws you in, with that low payment, doesn't it?

Lastly, I'm assuming you can limit your driving to 7500 miles per year.

Well, the $3200 is a factory to dealer incentive, so they don't have to pass it along.

Keep checking with more dealers. Only takes one to meet your numbers.

MSRP: $31,625
Lease cash/emissions: $7,500
Down: $2,500 (get $2,500 back due to rebates in CA) + drive off of $1,317 (1st month's + DMV +Acq + tax on incentives and cap reductions) = $3,817
"Other Cap reductions": $5,850 (which I'm sure includes the $3,200 factory to dealer incentive)
Net Cap: $16,400

Monthly: ~$150 ($139.58 + $10.82 tax)

Thinking it's pretty good and about to pull the trigger tomorrow. I'd appreciate any kind of feedback prior to me making a decision. Thanks!

One suggestion - roll the acquisition fee into the payment. If the lease terminates early, you won't be out that money.
