Can I see the figures for 10K and 12K miles per year and for 36 or 39 months, whichever is better?

If I subtract the lease cash, I get $284/mo.+tax.

If your deal is $285/mo, all in, with ZERO drive off, that's really cheap.

The lease cash is a factory to dealer incentive; dealer is under no obligation to pass that along to the customer, though many do.

The Edmunds incentives page shows lease cash of 4235 and 2250 for the premier. Are both of these available on top of the 3000 lease conquest (I currently lease a Kia)? the Chevy lease is 15k a year, they charge a mileage penalty at 48k miles on the 39 months. the tax rate in Georgia TATV is 6.5% .

this was against a LT with leather/heated seats/bose

GA taxes the entire selling price - that alone is adding $50-60/mo to the payment.

Likely that the ad is for a low mile lease - asking for 15K will lower the residual and raise the payment.

Yes! Was going to turn in my lease later this month and not lease anything but after Chevy announced the $3,000 competitive lease rebate, started looking into cheap leases and while Cruze was cheaper, felt Volt deal too good to pass up.

My guess is that the $30K already includes the $46xx of lease cash, which is what GM is passing along to you from the federal tax credit.

LT or Premier trim?

Yes, there are different incentives for purchase vs. lease.

The lease cash will reduce the cap cost.

So realistically in the midwest I'm lookin at ~$34555-4610 = $29945 -(any dealer added discounts)? Probably in the $29k area for cost of capital? I guess not much competition up here

Thanks for the quick response. How does the $7500 tax credit and the lease cash work in the lease payment calculation?

Say the MSRP is $40655 and the Negotiated Price is $36000

Do I take the $36000 - $7500 - $4235 = $24353 to arrive at the Net Cap Cost?

Then Residual Value is $40655 * 0.49 = $19921

Am I doing anything incorrectly? Seems the month fee would be very low.

Sorry, GM is only passing along $4235 of the tax credit to the customer. You don't get to double dip

Looking for updated numbers for SF bay area in the month of March for Chevy Volt 2017 LT without any upgrade packages.

Comparing three dealers nearby for 36 month /15k mile lease with $0 down, I am getting quotes anywhere from $278 to $284 per month plus taxes. The bottom line monthly including taxes for the $284/month price ended up being $312.95/month. (assuming 9.25% taxes in my area). That would make the most competitive quote to come out to be $304/month including taxes.

I know many have asked about MF, residuals, selling price, etc. but in the end, as long as you're comparing apples to apples, shouldn't that suffice to compare and pick the best price? (unless you wanted to try and negotiate lower than the lowest price quoted)

How do the above numbers sound? Are folks getting much below $300/month (including everything) with $0 down?

You want to negotiate the selling price, not the payment - and make sure you are comparing the out the door fees to see if one dealer is padding them.

That said, we don't track selling prices.

If you have all the numbers, and you know why and how they are coming up with the payment, then at that point, you can negotiate the payment. But, you still need to go over the final paperwork with a fine-toothed comb, to make sure the terms haven't been changed.

Otherwise, when the dealer says $325/mo, and you want $300/mo, you aren't basing it on anything other than you want it for less. You won't know if $300/mo. is even possible.
