Hi there! I am new to the world of leasing and was hoping I could get some advice from you! Yesterday, i made a deal for $27.9k for a 2017 TLX 2.4L w/ Tech Package and the dealer (dealer based in PA, I live in NJ) is giving me a couple of days to decide whether I want to lease or finance it (0.9%). They sent me these lease terms today: 36mo, 10k/yr, $299/month with $2k total cash due at signing.

I have always been a believer in buying, but the more I think about it, it might make sense to lease and have lower monthly payments so that I can do something else, such as invest, the extra cash that I would have on hand. Thank you in advance for your advice!

    **Update to my post**
I asked the dealer for more information and this is what they came back with:
"Optional purchase price is $19,182.80 at the end of the lease.
Also, there are no additional fees at signing.
Your 1st payment and motor vehicle fees are included in $2,000.00.
So you will pay 35 times!"

Hello and thanks for helping with the numbers back in May. Did the numbers and incentives change for June?
    2017 TLX 4CYL Base
    36/12k
    36/10k
    In zip 32256?
It was 54/55% 0.00094 and 5500 incentives in May.
Also I saw a new 2016 TLX on a dealers lot. Do they still get lease support?

    Hello,

I'm looking for the MF, RV, and any incentives and rebates on a 2017 TLX 2.4 with Tech?

36 months and 15K a year. I'm in Texas if that makes a difference.

Could you tell me what the numbers would be for 36 month/15k miles, same scenario/location as above. Also, would I be able to add the $750.00 loyalty cash to the $5500 in incentives?

    Thanks!

Hello, I'm currently in the process of negotiating a lease deal with a couple of Acura dealers in my area (TX) and am looking to find out which is the better deal. One dealer is offering a 2017 TLX v6 vs. the 2018 TLX base. Here's their offers:
    • 2017 TLX V6 FWD:
    • MSRP: 36,500
    • Selling Price: 28,500
    • Total After Tax, Title, etc: 30,500
    • 36 Months @ 10k Miles
    • $0 down
    • $360 monthly lease
    • Paying last month of current lease ($280)
    • 2018 TLX Base FWD:
    • -I don't have all of the details on this, but I've spoken with the dealer over the phone and they're offering $330 a month on the base model for 36/10, with $0 down. They will pay the last month of my current lease, as well. The base MSRP is 33,950.
I'm pretty much a novice when it comes to cars, and this is only my 2nd time leasing a car. I'm hoping you guys could give me an idea of which of these deals is better (or if both are bad). I can try to provide more information, if necessary. Thanks for your help!

What trim level is the 2017?

Only $2000 for taxes and fees? I figure almost $1800 in tax alone - TX taxes the entire selling price of the car.

And, are you certain they are making the last payment? They could be rolling it into the new lease.

Thanks for the quick response. The 2017 Trim is: TLX FWD V6. It's just the base v6 (No Tech or Advanced package). They are taking making that last payment. In terms of the additional fees, I'm seeing $1,800 on the invoice, but the other fees I'm seeing (doc fee, e-tag fee, inspection, license, title) are only coming out to an additional $203.

No, it is not from what I can tell. The MSRP only includes the 35,450 MSRP + the $950 destination fee. Then it shows the $28,500 selling price. From there it shows the tax, doc fee, e-tag fee, inspection, license, and title.

Just got the following offer In SoCal:
    2017 Acura TLX 3.5 V-6 9-AT P-AWS with Technology Package and Navigation

    MSRP 40,340
    Selling Price 31,500
    .00097 and 53%

    36 Months @ 10k Miles
    $0 down
Approx $890 at signing (DMV + fees + 1st month)
    8.75% sales tax rate
    $381 monthly lease (Incl Tax)

    Is this a good deal?

When I use your formula I come out with $361.48 (Incl Tax)
Should I make a counter offer of $345 or $350 (Incl Tax)???

Your input would be greatly appreciated.

I get the same payment you do.

But, no mention of the acquisition fee - that is probably what accounts for the $20 difference.

Don't negotiate the payment, negotiate the price of the car - $9000 isn't enough of a discount for you?

Hi all im in desperate need of advice i have an appointment tommorow i said id buy at 380 a month. Im thinking myself. I want to lease and acura tlx tech 2017 12/36 and im getting alor of offers in 400 a month with 0 down. I put dealers against each other and got one to go the lowest at around 380 a month with 0 down. all others wont go below 400-390. Is 380 a month 0 down a good deal for tlx tech lease? thats all taxes included. one dealer offered me 389 for 10k miles and a sale price of 29000. What price should I be looking for please help!

im checking math and the sale value of 29000 for 389 a month makes no sense. however if this other dealership is giving me 380 a month thats around 30,800 which is pretty good i think. please give me feedback. I need refirmation from someone. Its me vs the dealrship world here.

Is this the 4-cyl or V6?

Need to know the MSRP and the adjusted cap cost in order to run the payment.

Texas assesses sales tax against the entire selling price.
