why is RV for 2018 less than the 2017s?

why is RV for 2018 less than the 2017s?

Because BMW would rather clear out the old inventory; a higher residual will result in a lower payment.

AAH interesting.. so now they are trying to get rid of 2017s so they are priced lower.. makes sense..so leasing 2018 now is a bad idea then ?

    I am getting the following
    MSRP 51,635
Sale price: 48,754 (not negotiated yet)
    10k/36 month lease : $680/ month.

Seems on higher end..whats the least I can negotiate to roughly?

    I also have a 2017 with 4500 miles on it, (don't like colors tho :( )
    MSRP: 54,825
SALE: 49,325 (not negotiated yet, quoted by the dealer)
    10k/36: $589

Can't help you with the pricing.

No point in leasing a 2017, if you don't like the color. Maybe shop around for another one.

I have been looking to lease or purchase a 2018 440i Gran Coupe. I live in GA which has TAVT taxes. As a result, BMW offers Owner's Choice rather than a traditional lease. They are quoting me a very high interest rate 5.25% on an Owners Choice deal. I know that MF for traditional leases is 0.00151 or 3.625%. Does BMW FS charge higher rates for Owners Choice or is the dealer using 3rd party financing and profiting on the additional interest charges? The difference adds about $2k over the term of the lease.

What are the current RV and MF values for a 2018 440i Gran Coupe RWD with 15k/36 mths?

Dealer may be marking up the Owners Choice interest rate for more profit.

Owner's Choice base rate is 4.25% APR. The dealer is marking it up for extra profit.

I'll guess that if they were quoting you a lease, they would be marking up the .00151 MF to .00191.

Hi. I am looking at a dealer loaner 2018 BMW 440i xDrive Gran Coupe. MSRP is right around 57k. What is the MF and RV for this car? Also, any thoughts on how much discount because of the demo/loaner? Any other incentives right now? I'm in the Chicago area. THANKS!

What lease term and how many miles per year are you looking for?

How many miles are on the odometer? BMW will adjust the residual based on that.

Chicago area, or Chicago proper? I ask because the tax situation is different if you live in the city.

Sorry for the lack of info. 36m/12k most likely, but also curious what gives the best numbers. The car is still being driven as a loaner, so anywhere up to a max of 5,000 they say. I don't know how many are on it right now. I live an hour outside of the city.

    Thanks!

A 2018 loaner? These are already available?

    Anyway, .00151 and 56% for 36/12

Up to 5000 miles, the deduction on the residual is only .25/mile.

We suggest a target of 7% off sticker, before incentives.

Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost - as Texas assesses sales tax against the entire selling price, it will make your lease payments expensive.

    Hey,

Looking to lease 2018 430i Gran Coupe for MSRP $53,090 (Premium + Track Handling + harmon kardon + carplay). Hoping to negotiate around ~8% to $48,800, and then use my loyalty offer for $3k that expires at the end of the month giving sale price of $45,800. I also have a $3,250 3 series loyalty offer that can be stacked, but will they give this to me on the 4 series? Is this a possible scenario, and what would my expected payments be with 0 down on 36/12 with CA sales tax? And how will that monthly payment be with 7 MSDs?

    Thanks!

just saw that the 3000 is a dealer incentive and the 3250 is strictly a 3 series loyalty incentive so this situation won't work. looks like the 3 series has such a stronger residual than the 4 GC anyway so probably better to stick with that?

Good afternoon all. I am planning to lease a 2018 430i Gran C by end of month, in California. The MSRP is ~53,000.

    BMWFS has a $2k incentive.

    a) What dealer contribution is reasonable? One dealer is offering $3,240. Is there room to ask for more?

    b) Is there a loyalty discount that i can ask for on top of this? I am at the end of my 5 series lease. If yes, what is the discount?

    c) I saw elsewhere on this forum that 2018 MF is .00151 and 56% for 36/12. What is it for 2017 cars?

I'm getting this quote, based on my calculations it should be $679/month after tax. Am i doing something wrong? This quote is also not including the BMW 2k lease cash (with lease cash my numbers come to $615/month aftertax). I'm in SoCal. thank you in advance.

    440i GC
    48465 MSRP
    45445 Sale
    .00151 money factor
    54% residual (36/15k miles)
    1st payment, $80 doc fee, $925 acquisition, registration $516
    $2220 Drive off
    $1473 after $750 loyalty discount
    $698 monthly includes 9.25% tax

@tallmass - any dealer will offer at least 6% off before incentives, even if they say they don't. I am in Bay area. One of them said they have fixed price, then another person from same dealership sent email next day saying they will beat whatever anyone else is offering. The reason I stopped negotiating is due to poor residuals on 2018, will pick it up again around Thanksgiving. Targeting 7%.

I am unclear how to figure out loyalty. Does that come from dealer or bmw? I was told by a dealer that 5 to 5 series is 2k, and 5 to 4 is 750. I have a 530, thinking of getting a souped up 440 with all options.

@tallmass - any dealer will offer at least 6% off before incentives, even if they say they don't. I am in Bay area. One of them said they have fixed price, then another person from same dealership sent email next day saying they will beat whatever anyone else is offering. @benz2bmw - thanks. Yeah not a fan of the residuals and MF bmw has been doing lately. Their money factor as Michaell had mentioned has been creeping up. trying to get a deal in today to take advantage of the 2k lease cash that ends today.

The new program numbers started last Friday; I do see $2000 in lease credit on the 2018 4-series. No rush to get anything done - these numbers are good through 2 October.

Hi - first post but have been eyeing this thread for a minute. Just leased a new 2018 430 Gran Coupe. It's my first BMW lease and got the following deal, curious as to if I could have done any better. Regardless I'm very happy with the car after the first few days.

    MSRP - $46,975
Selling price - $39,xxx (don't remember off the top of my head)
    36 months/12K miles
$0 down, $0 out of pocket at the dealer/drive off
    $460/month + tax

    Thoughts?

I'm in southern california and have 5 payments left of my existing 2015 435i lease and got an offer which i think is pretty good and about to pull the trigger on. Wanted to double check here. Dealer said he is utilizing the BMW pull ahead program (3 months payments) and dealership will eat the remaining 2 payments plus below are the numbers he's given me for a 440i Gran Coup:

    MSRP $55585
    Sale price $49549 (before incentives)
    Loyalty Discount $750
    Lease cash $2000
    MF .00152
    36 months 15k miles
    Residual 54%
    Monthly payment $583
    Tax 9.25% $54
    total monthly $637

I would like to know if the following deal is a good one on a 2018 440xi gran coupe for 36 months and 18,000 miles a year in New Jersey:

    MSRP: $59,985
$807/month including taxes and bank fee/acquisition

$1740 due at lease inception which breaks down as follows:

    -$807 first month payment
    -$392 dealer doc fee
    -$221.30luxury tax
    -$319.70 dmv/tire fee

This will be a made to order vehicle. The deposit on the build should be 100% refunded at lease inception, correct?

    Thanks for your input.
