Do you have numbers for 2018 Q3 Prem FWD for 42/15k. Not sure if Audi numbers are nationwide. I'm in Texas.
    Thank you!

I get $403/mo plus tax with those prices.

Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost, and make sure you understand the math from the selling price to that number.

That is the correct money factor and residual.
    What state and tax rate.
If that is the adjusted CAP cost, then $433/mo.+tax
Is $1500 the total amount due at signing?

Let me be clearer with the numbers, sorry, still getting used to lease lingo. I'm located in VA which is 4.15% sales tax I believe.

    36 mo/10k

2018 Audi Q3 Prem Plus AWD
    MSRP: 43000
    Sale Price: 38700
Cap Cost (Inc Fees, see breakdown below): 41763

    MF: .00151
    Resid: 62%
Down Payment: $1500 (to cover some fees)
    Monthly: $498

    Fee Breakdown
    Tax: 1656
    Registration: 67
    Processing: 545
    Acquisition: 795

    TOTAL: 3063

There is also a $500 loyalty too, not sure how that is included in these numbers. The sale price of the car is 10% off MSRP, is this a good deal? Thank you!

I'd guess they asked for $1500, to make sure they could keep the price under $500/mo.
The money factor and residual are correct.
In addition to a complimentary first payment and loyalty, there is $750 dealer cash on this model.
Looks like your sale price has all of those incentives incorporated, already.
But, even backing those out, it's 6% off MSRP, so not bad.
Of course, the $545 processing is a garbage fee.
Acquisition fee is actually $895 for Audi, not $795.

My calculation is about $4/mo, less, but that's close enough.

It's called a marketing allowance. It's factory to dealer money. They don't have to disclose it, as it's not a consumer incentive.

Hi, needing advice on a deal.
Do these line items seem normal for a 36/10 on q3 premium Quattro?
    Audi care 869
    Phantom footprint 99
    Title 90
    Business tax 46.18
    Doc fee 589

These are on a quote for a q3 in Tennessee.

doc fee and phantom footprint cost are pretty much profit centers for the dealer

AudiCare is worth the price, as it bumps the residual 1%

You're so awesome! Please give me advice on this deal, I feel I may be getting "fleased" if I sign this:

    2018 Q3 Premium (convenience package)
    MSRP (Adjusted) 35396
Phantom Footprint 99 (is this negotiable?)
    Audi Care 869
    Doc fee 589
    Tax 1127
    Title 980
    bus tax 46.18

    MF .00171 with 63%
0 down and they're quoting 568/mo, which is 20,448 over 36 which is estimated at me paying 54% of the value of the car over the next 3 years (46% residual)
    What am I missing?

Assuming this is a Quattro, MF is marked up - base is .00151, this month.; 63% is the correct residual for 7500 miles per year.

What is the selling price? Try to negotiate the phantom footprint cost and the doc fee out.

How much is the dealer asking for at signing? $0 down and $0 due at signing are not the same.

$568/mo is a big lease payment for a $35,000 car.

Update on the same car from a different dealer (not far away)
Q3 Quattro Premium, convenience package 2018
0 down = no upfront fees of any sort
Due at signing= First months payment $494
MF is .00151 but through 8 MSD I'm getting .00111 = $3,952 Security Deposit due at signing, paying for both first month and this with a 2% cash back card.

I forget the exact price he quoted but I believe it was right around 36k for SELLING PRICE.

Is this an ok deal? Should I keep pushing for better and look at other dealerships?

PS I'm trading my current 2015 Q3 FWD valued at 24k, even though I still have 7 payments left on the car I'm not paying anything out of pocket to get out.

    Thank you so much!!!

You may not be paying anything out of pocket to get out of your current lease, but that doesn't mean those dollars aren't going somewhere - likely into your new lease

This is why it's important to ask for the adjusted cap cost - this is the selling price plus any taxes and fees you aren't paying up front, along with any rolled over dollars from the previous lease.

The security deposit amount is the monthly payment rounded up to the next highest $50 - 8 MSDs would be $4000 even.

What is the MSRP? You want to target 6% off sticker as your selling price.

It's never a bad idea to engage as many dealers as you are comfortable playing off against one another. Get them to compete against each other to earn the right to have your business.

MSRP 39195 Sale Price 37200 Adjusted cap cost 38595.91 - includes 750 rebate, 699 audi care, 84.45 tax, 895 acquisition fee, 499 doc fee and some kind of tax rebate or something, could understand that 63% residual with MF .00111 on 36/10, I'm going to put 4k security deposit to buy down the MF Total monthly payment 488.36 Also, my payoff on the current Q3 is 24230 on a lease that isn't up until April (7 months ahead of time), they're giving me trade value of 24230 so I don't lose any money on it and get out of the current lease 7 months ahead. Does that sound right?

Also, doesn't this mean that they're technically forgiving me 7 months worth of lease payments valued at $3,360 on the current q3?

No... it just means they are giving you the payoff amount for the vehicle. There are no payments to forgive, as they are buying the car from AFS
