Looking to lease 2017 Maxima SV on 3-year/36K miles. Will do 2K out of pocket, looking for expected monthly payment and residual please! Also, does the residual vary across dealerships?

Spoke to a couple of dealers here - the deal on the table is 4000 down (including all taxes, fees, doc. fee, acquisition fees, excluding first month's payment) and 350/month for a 2017 Maxima SL - sounds high, but wanted to check here, please help!

What is the MSRP and selling price?

State and tax rate?

We do not recommend that much down - only the first payment and DMV costs, up front. Add taxes and fees into the monthly payment.

MSRP is 35895, price comes out to 30894 after rebates of 4850. Am looking for a lower monthly payment, so willing to put more down if needed, just need to understand how the pricing works out.

Also - is the residual calculated on the selling price net rebates or before applying rebates?

So... no discount, other than the rebates? That seems wrong.

Residual is always a percentage of full MSRP

Exactly! That's why need to check for average dealer discount...am going to offer them 1000 (includes title, taxes, fees, acquisition, doc., etc.) + 350 first payment and keep the monthly @350 - does that sound fair?

NJ taxes the sum of the payments - we suggest you roll those into the lease payment.
