I just wanted to share that Acura is also offering an additional $500 in dealer cash on the TLX beyond the $3,000. I am not sure what trims qualify but the A Spec did. Apparently dealers were notified Friday so my timing was perfect.

Payment dropped to $476 so even better.

Drop the prepaid maintenance. In 3/30, you are looking at 3-4 basic services, about $75 each, or $50 tops with a coupon. $1500 is crazy. That's Porsche money and beyond. So that item along would drop payment about $40/month

I got my AWD A-Spec out the door for $40K, about 12.5% off MSRP of $45,750 and my payment is $476 for 36/10. I don't know your location but there are $3,500 in incentives available on the TLX A-Spec FWD in Southwest PA ($2,250 lease cash, $750 bonus cash, and $500 TLX dealer cash) so I think you have a lot more room to negotiate. The $500 TLX dealer cash was added to my deal literally hours before I signed last week and I don't know whether it's all dealers or it's regional. I also agree with @stickguy, drop the prepaid maintenance, that's adding about $40-$43/month right there and from what I've read normal maintenance like oil changes and rotations on Acuras run between $40-$60.

@taktix1 .00106 MF and 58% residual for 36/10
$3000 incentive.

Looks like you left out the destination fee on your MSRP. Given the residual, the MSRP should be $43,750, not $42,800.
Assuming $43,750 MSRP, they are discounting car by $3235, but adding a $700 doc fee.
That's a $2535 discount, while they are getting a $3000 incentive.
Effectively, you are paying $465 over MSRP

So, the calculations are correct, given the correct MSRP.
But, I would think that you should be able to easily lower the selling price by $2500-$3000.
Take $3000 out of this deal, and the payment is $442/mo.

Thats what I thought but a dealer here is quoting me $3000 in incentives and 58% residual. I am sure he will say that it was a "mistake" when times comes to sign it.

I am a repeat customer, doubt that can make that much of a difference.

i got this quote last month(SEPT), i have to turn in my current lease next month(NOV) and thinking about getting into a TLX SHAWD aspec wondering if anything has changed in OCT, and if you guys have any tips on negotiating the lease so my payments are lower. ideally i put 0 down and get a low monthly payment

Looking at a TLX base FWD 4 cyl, was quoted $421 a mo with $619 drive off. Dealer gave me following numbers, car stickers at $33k. They seem high based on MF and residual: MF- .00088 Residual- 57% (19,351) Sales price-$27990 plus taxes and fees Lease is in Milwaukee Wi 5.1% price includes tax.

Hi folks, I know the common advice on these forums is to put as little money down as possible because you will likely lose it if the car gets stolen or totaled. Does that mean I should also avoid paying taxes and acquisition/doc fees upfront and roll them into monthly payments instead if the dealer lets me do that? Or am I going to be liable for paying taxes and fees no matter what happens, so it makes sense to pay those upfront to avoid extra interest charges? (This is in NJ, btw). Thanks in advance!

The "interest" is pretty minimal. The only thing I like to pay upfront is first payment and non-taxable fees. If you roll your taxes into the payment, then if your car is totaled or stolen, GAP insurance covers any shortfall. But, if you paid $2000 of tax out of pocket, that money is gone, never to be recovered.
