Business partner signed lease today which I haggled. They had no more 2017s. I argued so much that we cpupdnt keep up with numbers and just beat for lowest and this is what we got. 2018 T5 momentum with 7 miles. 24 month lease 12k miles. Check for 2250 for 3 payments of bmw 4series (competitive lease payoff offer). $800 due at signing which includes first payment, 23 remaining payments of $575 6% FL tax included.
Not the best maybe, but my partner had to get out of his bmw anyway.

Looking for some guidance. 2018 s90 T6 AWD momentum. MSRP $60,940. dealer is applying $10,840 in discounts. Making purchase price $50,100. I am looking at a 36mo / 15k miles lease. They are also kicking in $3,000 lease buyout, as I have a BMW lease with 6 payments left. They want $5k down, lease price of $579 per month. Compared to those above, the amount down seems high for this payment. thoughts?

So, with $5000 upfront, your price does seem high.

State is delaware and I'm actually unsure of the tax rate, if my google search was accurate it's 4.25%. Volvo is giving me a check for $3000 to cover the remaining BMW lease payments. I need to turn in the lease myself with BMW.

I think Delaware taxes the full selling price. So, $2200 for tax, more or less. $695 acquisition fee. That leaves about $1500 for CAP reduction. That's a lot of assumptions, but I get about $550/mo. Not way off their $579/mo.

I'd look for a bigger discount from MSRP.

Hey @Michaell do you guys know when Volvo programs usually change? None of my local dealers in a 150 mi. radius would honor the cash allowances or the trucar rebate with any other msrp discounts. So I'm trying to work out of state. I'd anticipate programs getting better with the holidays coming? I've been told by 4 others who signed a deal to start at 12% msrp before rebates as they have signed deals on t6 momentums for $380/mo before tax.

New numbers were released yesterday.

There are lease incentives, and purchase incentives. Not everybody is aware of the lease incentives when you ask for a price quote on-line.

You're absolutely correct, trying to get you to pay MSRP is a joke. I don't get how some dealers act as if they have this exclusive product that you can only get from them when there are just so many other options. Also if you're referring to the TrueCar deal I'm thinking of, it wasn't a rebate it was access to the A-Plan pricing program (which should still be valid if you still have your pin). I'm also guessing those 4 people were probably in southern California, seems dealers there go for volume rather than markup. But in southern Florida I hard to work real hard to get close to that 12% off MSRP, I was about 9%.

I'm in the same boat you are but I had a deal all lined up and had to walk out halfway through the paperwork because they wouldn't fix an issue with the car, not happy about having to start over again.

$4250 lease bonus - I read this and it sounds like they cut you a check as long as you own one of the competitors. Do they put that into the discount off msrp or is that a check? Also says you can keep your current lease or turn it in.

For the 2018 T6 Momentum AWD, there are $8750 in Volvo incentives and an extra $3K in A-plan incentives. The $3K is showing up in the rebate space. It appears they are only discounting ~$1750: $10,514-8750 = 1764. Given that A-plan is 6% off MSRP, the straight A-plan deal would be $3584 off MSRP before incentives. And yes, that dealer prep fee is ridiculous (and if OP were doing a straight A-plan deal would be capped at an amount lower than that). Acquisition fee is marked up from $695.

I was told that 30 months is the best term this month. Can you confirm that and if not what term are you showing as the best and can you provide those numbers?

I don't see the 30 month term as being any better than 36 or 39 months, but with the high level of incentives, they tend to have more impact on shorter terms. (more money per month, when amortized over shorter terms).
We'd have to calculate it with actual numbers to see if it turns out to be cheaper.

T5 FWD: .00040 MF and 53%/49%/47% residual for 30/36/39 months
