    Negotiated the following lease deal for 2018 E300 RWD with P3 package and 3 year prepaid maintenance (3 year/36k miles) - MSRP $67,500. Negotiated price - $60,515. $2k down with $815 monthly payment. Is this a good deal?

    If you are happy with the car and can afford the payment, then its irrelevant at this point. I would advise going over to leasehackr site in the future for lots of leasing helpful info and deal info. Most people in those forums believe that you shouldn't pay any more than 1% of the msrp as monthly lease payment to be considered a good deal. Also, putting money down is considered an absolute NONO. If you want to put money down, you should do it in the form of MSD's to lower MF. In total loss, you don't get down payment back but you do get your MSDs back.

    Putting in the msrp and final sales price and taking the reported mf and residual into the ride with g or leasehackr lease calc, I couldn't come up with that payment. So maybe the dealer inflated the MF. Not sure. But if I'm being honest, that seems like a high payment for 60k car.

    State of Texas (6.25% tax rate on MSRP). $2k covers 1st month's lease payment, acquisition fee of $795, taxes and inspection of ~$125 and doc-prep fee of $125 an cap-cost reduction of ~$150.

    It's 6.25% tax on the negotiated price, not MSRP.

    Those taxes are likely added into the cap cost, as the taxes are almost $3800 alone

    If I add that to the selling price you've provided, my calculated payment is now $805/mo - much closer to the $815/mo quote. Still leaves about $360 to explain, however.

    This is for state of NJ. I saw a previous message on multiple security deposits, I am leasing 2015 C300 at the moment and wasn't aware that MB offered MSDs. Is 0.00007 off each security deposit so if base MF is 0.00113, and if I do 10x security deposits do subtract 0.0007 from the base MF?

    Hello: I noticed from your posts that the MF changed from 0.00138 on December 5 to 0.00113 on December 9th for E300RWD. Is that correct? The dealers have all been quoting 0.00138 for E300RWD. Thank you again.
