I got the following 10/36 lease numbers on a 2018 340xi, for zip code 60077 :

Money factor dealer used is 0.00152. When I plugged in the numbers in the lease calculator, I had a monthly payment much less than the quoted amount, can someone look at it and point out where the discrepancy came from?

I agree with the math on the worksheet.

But, we suggest you only put up the first payment and registration costs. Roll the taxes and fees into the payment.

The tax amount is the simply the total tax paid during the lease.

My documents show .00152.

You can make almost anything look legit with a computer, these days.

Those are "Standard Rates".

They like to pull those out, to prove to you that .00152 isn't available.

It's confidential dealer information.

Just tell them: I get .00152 or I find another dealer.

Of course, now that they've lied to you, they may not feel they can back up.

You want to target 7% off the MSRP, before applying the incentive.

Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost; this will be the selling price plus any fees you aren't paying at the beginning of the lease.

CA taxes the monthly payment only; not sure what up front tax the dealer is referring to.
