Thanks to everyone for there help. We actually passed on the AWD Denali. Very hard to find one in Florida that is AWD. Wife drove 1 hour north for test drive. If she liked it, had a deal in place for $565 a month with $500 down at 36month and 12K. Did not drive well with poor engine performance and interior looked worn out. The above deal was great considering another dealer about 1 hour south had a 2017 for $575 a month with $705 down and 36/12K and a 2018 was going to be about $40-$50 more a month with all process within $200 of each other. Using Costco program would have netted us $700 gift card.

Most vehicles near me have an upgraded V6 engine - does that change the residual?

I'm confused, dealers initial pricing came in at $739/month 36/10k. Sale price is $46, MSRP is $47. Are MF and Residual something I have to negotiate? I dont have a price breakdown of where at $739 came from.

Without a breakdown, you will remain confused.

$739/mo. doesn't sound like a very good deal, but without the details, you won't know why.

I'm confused by your statements - how much is due at signing? $0 or $3774?

CT taxes the monthly payment - ask the dealer what the adjusted cap cost is?

Not sure where they are getting that tax number. CT taxes the monthly payment. The only upfront tax would be on the rebate.

Even if it were a purchase, that tax number would be wrong. Isn't the CT sales tax rate about 6.35%?

Find out the pre-tax payment... And, just ask them for the adjusted CAP cost.

Yes in CT it is 6.35%

Cap cost is the $41826 minus the $3300 rebate = $38526

Base payment without CT taxes is $445.70

The adjusted CAP cost has to have acquisition, DMV fees, etc, etc added to it. Because you aren't paying them anywhere else.

I put the adjusted CAP at about $40,050 to get to that pretax payment.
That's about $1500 added to the CAP.
Acquisition fee, upfront tax on the rebate... DMV and dealer fees, most likely.

I come up with 1239.
They said something about the rebate is taxable as well...not sure what that exactly means
but it looks like there is another 250-300 we cant find.

Other than that is there any concern with this deal?

The rebate is applied as a CAP cost reduction. Since it's not in the payment, it's taxed upfront. Probably $200 or so, in tax.

That's pretty close.

It looks like a good deal, from here.
