Please help ID this vintage CAR & BUS!

I'm trying to date a bunch of old pictures. Here's a close up from one of them:



I'm pretty sure the picture was taken in California, definitely after WWII and before 1953. Any help you can give will be appreciated!

    Really hard to tell. Car makes me think 46-48 Mopar sedan, maybe Plymouth or Dodge. Not sure about the bus, but I suspect it is postwar anyway.

    fintail is on the right track with the car--it's just too poor a photo to say for certain but I'd guess a '46 Dodge is about right.
