My dealer is telling me that Audi does not do MSD (multiple security deposits) to reduce the MF. They are quoting the current rate, .00190, but not honoring my option to use MSD for further reduction. Is this legit? What is the Audi MSD policy? Thanks!

We have heard nothing about Audi suspending their MSD program, but other posters have related similar information.

Reach out to other dealers and see if you get a consistent story.

One note - NY does not allow MSDs at all.

Im looking for numbers on a 2018 S5 sportback prestige 36/15 and 36/12 in St Louis, MO. One dealer gave me a quote that had MF at .00232. That seems pretty inflated after reading through the forum.

So, your selling price and the adjusted CAP cost are pretty close. Don't you want to know where your $4000 is going? Maybe it's inclusive of all of those things, and a $999 dealer fee? Or, $399 for VIN etching, or $500 for floor mats?

Maybe, it's all legitimate charges. But, if it's my $4000, I want to see it all laid out.

Since all other costs are paid upfront, the adjusted CAP cost should be the same as the selling price. To get to that payment, the sale price would have to be around $58,500.
That's a pretty good discount.

But, when spending thousands of dollars, be sure to do the math, to make sure you know where your money is going.

36 months is the best term.
There is no "sweet spot" for mileage allowance. Always take the allowance that you need.

Hi! I am new to leasing and am going to start the process for a 2018 Audi S5 prestige Sportback with MSRP of 67,150 and includes sports package, cold weather, drivers assistant. In talking with the sales person, I can buy it for $61,000. What would be a fair lease in 98122 zip code for 36months/7500 miles? I did not get as far as to talk about residual.
