Can you please talk me through the important considerations of leasing a 2017 vs 2018 Pilot EXL in Ky? I have kiddos in college for 2 more years so my primary objective is to have a lower monthly payment (will not likely buy at lease end). Thanks for any advice. Also is there still a prices paid/buying experience forum? I can't seem to find it.

When we switched vendors for our forums software, most of the prices paid forums withered on the vine. Feel free to read back through the last few pages of this thread to see what others have been able to negotiate.

2017 vs. 2018 Pilot. MF are similar (.00137 for the 2017 vs. .00159 for the 2018), and the residual for the 2018 is higher (60% vs. 57, assuming AWD).

It's all about the negotiated price, then. I would think that Honda dealers are more motivated to move the older 2017 inventory, thus bigger discounts should be available.

How do I figure out details of the Honda Pilot 2018 EX-L AWD Captive Lease Offer for $389/month for 36 months. 12k/year. $3,199 total due at signing.

Can I assume this is based on the MSRP? Will negotiating the price help in bringing down the monthly payment?

How can figure out the MF here?

There is likely to be some dealer "contribution" (aka, discount from sticker)

But, we do not recommend that amount of money due at signing.

We believe you can always improve upon the ad details, when it comes to price.

Thanks...could there be any situation where the MF would be different based upon the dealership? I assume Honda finance would be the best but one dealer today said the MF was .00147.

Well... the terms we quote are for Honda Finance, so if it's a different bank, the terms would be different.

In Maryland, I found an ad from a dealer for 2018 Pilot LX- FWD. $295 / 35 month. $0 Down, $0 Deposit, $0 First Payment. I haven't talk to them yet. (Well Qualified Leasee and Residency restrictions apply). Can you please tell me is it good? also can you please provide me any incentive in Maryland and MF, Res value in MD..

Looks like a good deal, but the LX model doesn't have many options.
Also, tax in MD is 6% of the full purchase price, so that will add at least $50/mo. to that price.
