Ah, I think I got it.

They “double“ tax in RI depending what city you live in. So, we are paying an excise tax on the vehicles value (which is outrageous) and then also the 7% tax on the payment.

But, besides that’s: Is the $314 payment a good deal or do you think there is some more negotiating room?

$314/mo on a $52K truck is a great payment. Only way to improve on it is to negotiate a lower selling price.

The APR/MF bump is adding about $40/mo. to the payment. But, even taking that into account, looks like about $4000 added to the selling price to get to that payment. 1st payment Acquisition fee DMV charges Dealer fee? GA is famous for really high dealer fees. Tax: This could be $1500-$2000 $9000 is a big discount, but look like some of that is getting clawed back with dealer fees and money factor bumps.

The Cap cost is $55,755 plus Acquisition fee: $645 Dealer fee: $599 and TAVT: $1,905.

@coach_charles If I add all that up for an adjusted CAP cost of $58,904, then I get a payment of $729/mo, which is pretty close..

But, what happened to the $53,255 price in your first post? Looks like it's gone up to $55,755, before adding those other fees? Where did that extra $2500 addition come from?

What is the MSRP?
MSRP with options and destination charge is $44,595.

Given the lease program (good residual, relatively high APR), and $2000 of negative equity, that payment would need a discount from MSRP of about $4500. So, it's right in line.

4X4 residuals are 3% higher, so if the price isn't too much more, you might get the same payment or less on a 4X4 (if that works for you).

Here's a tip, go to the Ford website, and build the exact truck your looking at. On the final page it will apply the incentives available to you using your Zip Code. Make sure you click the "Lease" tab, since purchase/finance incentives will be different. (Also, click the little question mark symbol next to the "Incentives Applied" total, it will list each individual incentive/rebate)
