I'm not a fan of longer lease terms, but those residuals are hard to ignore.

MF: .00164 (nice!)
Term: 10k/36 months
Fees: $945 acquisition (hmm!), $250 doc, $33.50 tags
Tax: 7% in my county

Payment: $554.52/month ($0 down) or $538.20/month ($500 down) or $521.89/month $1,000 down) or $508.05/month ($2,000 down)

The purchase price is solid at 5% below invoice, but these monthly payments don’t seem right to me with the residual and MF we have. I ran the numbers through 3 lease calculators (Lease Hackr, Edmunds, Calculator.com) and consistently get $488/month for $0 down.

Any ideas?

Find out the adjusted cap cost the dealer is using for those payment quotes, and make sure you understand what was added to the selling price to get there.

Would you know why a MF quoted to me was different than the standard MF you gave me for a JL Sahara 12k 48 month lease? It cant be based on credit score because I haven't given them any info yet?

1. Dealer can mark up the base MF for extra profit
2. Might be using a bank other than Chrysler Captial
3. Might be quoting you a higher MF until they can run your credit and offer you the base MF

Standard MF (we think .00193 on the JK, but not certain) and 60% / 59% / 58% / 57%

I would think you can get a bigger discount on the JK to offset the lower residuals.

People buy or lease Wranglers for the mileage? :laughing:
