Can I please get a confirmation on what residual and money factor are for 39 months/15k on F-Type S RWD convertible with automatic transmission? I have a dealer telling me that it is 48%/.00066 but it seems that above is showing 51%/.00016.

The "R" is .00016 MF and 48% residual

Either way, they are marking up the money factor.

I am so confused. Dealer came back and confirmed that it is 48% for 15k miles and that 51% is for 10k miles. Is there a way for me to look this up myself? Is the dealer confused or just trying to pull a fast one on me?

Because.. either the dealer is just mistaken.... or, they are changing vehicles/terms, etc, because they can't meet your price, or they don't have what you want.

Additionally, there are a number of manufacturer incentives for the 2017 F-Types listed on autobytel (about $48k total) but it is difficult to decipher which ones apply and which ones don't. I am not a current Jaguar owner. Any thoughts?

I don't have any real insight into the incentives..

But, on a lease, I'd guess:
$2000 Bonus Credit
$5900 Lease Cash

Maybe, the $11K rebate, but that could be a loyalty rebate for current customers, only... hard to tell.

The rest of them look like purchase incentives.

I received the following offer from a dealer on a 2017 F-Type R:

I am curious about the numbers that are circled. I don't know what this is, and it doesn't appear to calculate into the lease. There is a $7,500 incentive from Jaguar right now for 2017 models according to Autobytel as "F-Type Dealer Cash." The number represented here of $7,490 is awfully close to that. Any ideas? I'm trying to figure out if I can make the dealer roll that $7,490 into the deal.

There's also a $5,900 bonus cash for leases, that is reflected in the "profit" section in the bottom right, and a $2,000 bonus cash that is not included on this sheet but the dealer is willing to add.

But I'm most curious about that $7,490 figure. Any thoughts/ideas?

We do not have any Jaguar incentive information, but that's what this looks like.

Am I reading this right - this deal requires $5500 cash from you? That's a lot of money up front.

After looking at your last link for Autobytel, I think you are adding amounts that may not be compatible with the lease program. Looks like the $7490 is the actual consumer rebate on this vehicle.

Let's assume for a minute, that the $5900 over in the "profit" section is valid and it's Jaguar-to-dealer cash. According to the same "profit" section, they are already selling you the vehicle for $9182 under dealer cost... so, even with them keeping their $5900, they are "losing" $3282.76.

Generally, those profit sections don't line up with reality, anyway.. If they are real, then every dealer in the country is going out of business... If they had the real numbers there, they wouldn't let you see them.

Yes, the deal does require $5,500 down, but I will not be accepting the offer on those terms. Trying to sweeten the deal, which is why I posted.

I figured the numbers showing that the dealer is losing money are bogus.

Based on a hodgepodge of information I've been able to learn using various Internet searches, all of the incentives on Autobytel are available for leasing and they stack except the $20k ATS dealer cash, which is for purchase only.

You can lease it but rates are awful?
Unless you missed 1 zero, .00225 seems ridiculous
