First time leasing a car and although overwhelming, I have been trying to do my due diligence on this forum when negotiating. Lots of great info! Got this offer. Please let me know if it's a good deal.

Sorry @kyfdx, A5 Sportback. What are the numbers for that? I think they are marking up the “inception” fees. I didn’t know that about the taxes, so without the payment taxes included in the inception fee, the other fees can’t possible add up to $2750.

That's $2482 total... .not too far off $2750.

Looks like their quote is pretty close

Hey, the thrill is in the hunt. Saddest day is when you sign the paperwork and commit to something for the next 3 years, because you know you'll be out of the market that long.

That said, you are reaching with that expectation. Lease programs on Audis aren't great to begin with, and the SB is quite popular.

Hi, I was at a dealership today in Coral Springs, FL. We were getting differing numbers on the monthly payments based on the cap cost the dealership quoted and I was working through the numbers.

Their finance person told me the Money Factor on the A5 Sportback premium+ was 0.00240, and not 0.00195 as quoted above. Is the number different in south florida, or am I missing something else (I have top tier credit)?

Conquest maybe considering I own a Mercedes. Trying to stay under $600 per month. What kind of deal am I looking at to acheive that if it's possible? What discounts off sticker should I expect on these models? 6%?

Hello. Please confirm how to calculate the RV. Is it the % of the MSRP, or of the discounted sale price after all discounts? Either way you calculate it, you do not include tax or any other fees in the RV calculation, correct? Thanks!

You'd need another $2000 off the selling price to sniff $600/mo - you are already getting almost 9% off on a car that is in big demand.

This is a good deal, as is - big discount and base MF. The A5 just doesn't have a great lease program, I'm sorry to say.

For what it's worth, I am getting quotes of 10.5% off MSRP on the A5 coupe over the phone without even setting foot in a dealership here in the Chicago area. That includes quotes on two vehicles currently in inventory and a quote on a special order. I believe 12% off MSRP is a realistic target on coupes.

However, can you take a look at this and provide an estimate of what number should I expect for monthly payment ? for 36/12, 0k downpayment. Also, the truecar pricing for this car shows 47,906 final price which is way too low, so should I expect this much discount from dealer ?

I seriously doubt you can get the A5 Sportback for $500-550/mo, especially in TX, where sales tax is applied to the entire selling price of the car.

We suggest 6% off sticker as a good target price - $51,662. Can't help you with pricing from other websites; could be valid only for a purchase.

With these prices, and using the 36/12 numbers from the previous post, I get a payment of $735/mo. That assumes that all taxes and fees are paid up front.

Audis, in general, are not cheap to lease, and you've picked the model with one of the worst lease programs within the Audi stable.
