If I use $36,200 as the cap cost, I get $455/mo plus tax, assumes all fees are paid up front.

I didn't realize the car I was originally looking at only had 7 seats. I found a van with 8 seats:
Vehicle Price: $42,945.00
AutoNation Savings: - $3,091.00
Customer Rebate: - $4,000.00
AutoNation Price: $35,854.00

Sales Tax (estimate): + $2,448.51
Tire/Battery/MVWEA: + $6.50
Dealer Service Fee: + $799.00
Tag/Registration Fees (estimate): + $554.00
Balance Due (estimate): $39,662.01

$500 down (first month due)
They gave me $538 a month for 36 months/15k miles. Any suggestions if this is fair or is this too high?

The problem is that the numbers at the top are for a purchase. Florida taxes the monthly payment on a lease. And, the rebates shown may not be applicable for a lease.

Ask the dealer to give you the capitalized cost associated with their lease payment quote, and how they got to that number from the selling price.

Lease term: 36/10k
Monthly payment: $367 after tax

Total due at sign is first month payment 367. with 0.0002 MF, I was supposed to get $348 after tax. But the dealer claims he needs to make some money and marked up the MF, ended up with $367.

Any thoughts?

That is a great deal!!! My msrp is $44 the deal I got was $476 a month. 36 months, 15k miles, only first month down- touring L plus with advanced safety package (and a few other extras I didn’t need). My problem is that I need 8 seats and the advanced safety package, there are only 2 within a 200 mile radius. They kind have me stuck!

I haven’t signed yet, After seeing your deal, I might need to go back and start over with them!

Wow, almost 10k off sticker, that is an awesome deal. I am in SoCal and struggling to even get 7 k off sticker.

imho you have a very good deal there. Don't forget that viva0521 has a 10k lease only so that alone is about $45 per month, plus your car has a $2500 higher msrp which adds up to another $60 at least. The quotes I have sofar (SoCal) are quite a bit higher than yours and only for a Touring L.

Not sure if I got a good deal,but this is my lease for a 2018 touring l plus for 10k/yr,trade in a 2015 odyssey exl with a payoff $20526.Did ask for additional 2k miles per year for $6 more per month.final deal is $7333 drive off with me putting in $1359 and 369 monthly payment.for your reference.

So, $2000 trade equity plus $1300 cash from you?

We would have recommended you structure the deal with only first payment and DMV costs out of pocket, cash out the rest of the equity and kept the $1300 in your pocket. Your payment would have gone up, but you aren't risking that cash if the car is stolen or totaled.

I'm sure you can get 18K/yr, but I'm not sure how CC handles it.
If it's like Ford, then the residual drops by 2%
Other makes, reduces the residual by cents/mile. That rate varies from $0.10-$0.20 per mile, so, multiply by 9000 miles (if that's the way they do it)
