  Have you tried repositioning your wiper arms after the install of the motor?

  I did a motor on my leSabre... it was one of the systems that did NOT do a park cycle at the end when turned off. I pulled the wiper arms using a small puller that pushed on the center of the shaft and pulled on the arm. They tend to really glue on the shaft from age.
  
  I used a battery clamp puller that they sell that also doubles as a wiper puller.
  
  Then the new motor was run with no wipers and turned off, and it went to the stop position. Then I put the wiper arms back on aligning the blade with the two light orange marks on the glass showing where they should be in the off position.
  
  You might be able to get the same result loosening the linkage from the motor shaft and operating the motor then putting it into stop position. Use the loose shaft to position the wipers where they should be. then put the linkage back onto the motor shaft.
  
  Here's a video the MAY be helpful. I don't know if it's the same body and wiper type as you have. See if it gives you any help.
