Explorer w/ remote start and heated 2nd row? vs Highlander?

Hi, I am looking to buy a lightly used 2017 Explorer. Few things that are important for me include remote start and 2nd row heated seats. My understanding is that I get both in the Limited trim but not the XLT, correct?

Also considering 2017 Toyota Highlander XLE but worried about their transmission issues. Any experience and comparisons with these two vehicles? Thanks.
