2018 Audi Q5 Lease Deals and Prices

I'm looking at leasing a 2018 Q5 Prem+ (with nav and cold weather options), for 36 or 42 mos., 7,500 miles/yr, $0 down in New York City

With incentives, getting $610 or $600 a month, with $4k out of pocket (taxes, bank fee, DMV fees). The sticker is $51,425 and residual is 58%

My question: is that's fair, can/should it be better? They're also picking up the last two payments for my X5 ($1,400) which is set to be returned in Aug... so only $2,600 out of pocket

Adjusted CAP cost?

If they are paying $1400 to get out of your current lease, then that comes out of your pocket, one way or the other. Why not wait?

If $4000 is covering the upfront amounts exactly, then I get a payment of about $547/mo. (subtracting the lease credit.

But, likely the $1400 is added in.. which takes me back up to $587/mo.

Not too far off. If you had the adjusted CAP cost and an accounting/itemization of it, we'd know for sure. You are definitely getting that $1400 rolled into the lease.

Subtract 2% for the Prestige trim

With $4k down and theyll cover last 3 of my current lease payments of about $1,500 (not being rolled into new lease)
$700/month in nyc.

This includes a $1k rebate.
On the lease sheet they were working it shows a purchase option price of $30,552.50.

I'm guessing based on MSRP that's a 55% residual value? Sorry first time going through this and not very good.

Is this a good deal?

They mentioned selling price is about $53k. (I don't remember exact amount)
They also said because of where they have to get the vehicle (few states away) due to the specific options I wanted it's going to cost them more, etc.
Current lease is not an Audi.

Okay... a couple of things

1) Paying extra to get it from another dealer
2) Regardless of your payments "not being rolled into the new lease", that $1500 is coming out of your pocket, one way or the other. There is no program to cover lease payments from another make. You are paying $1500 more for that vehicle, than if they weren't covering the payments.

Our recommendation is that you target 6% off MSRP, before applying the incentives.

If they run your credit, and base the rate on your score, I think they have to provide you with a written report. I'd make sure to get that, to see if that is truly the case.

At $48K adjusted CAP, you should be around $640/mo. for 42 months.

Ask the dealer what adjusted cap cost they are using for their quote. And, a full accounting of how they got to that number from the $48,150 price.

I get $633/mo with those prices and numbers.
