Hello!! I got my 2019 QX50 Essential FWD sticker $50,395 (skipped sensory packaged but loaded with every other package plus cargo, illuminated kick plates etc) for $450/mo on 39mo 10k mi. $0 down just first payment. I was able to turn in my Rogue lease 2 mo early with NMAC turn in program. Dealers in DFW must have huge incentives. I started a deal on this car in March and was at $700/mo. I’ll post adjust cap and such when I get paperwork from car. Just thought I’d share.

    Felipe:
Congrats! I'm looking at the Essential AWD as well. Without sensory, the wheels look so inky dinky... but sensory is so expensive! I want just the upgraded wheels. Dealer suggests to buy my own wheels, but i'm leasing.
    Dilemma!
Anyone else find the stock wheels ewww?

The sensory wheels are cool looking but were jarring to say the least. The compromise of comfort isn’t worth the $$. I think the base wheels are classy and enough IMO.

Thank you for the quick response. I guess with the Acura dealership across the Infiniti lot & the new RDXs, they are willing to trade more than they did a month back. Patience is money I guess. :-)

    Thanks again.

That was legit what happened with my dealership here in Frisco. I test drove the 2019 RDX (which I loved almost more) and told my Infiniti guys, so they called right away and cut me a deal with $6500 off sticker. Def some deep discounts out now since the 19 RDX is a solid alternative. It felt a lot quicker than the QX50.

Looking to pickup a QX50 Essential AWD. What incentives and MF/RV can I expect in 55427?

Also, how much of a discount can I realistically get off MSRP? Would 10-12% be out of the question?

Sorry, but we don't track pricing. I'd always be aggressive on an Infiniti, though.

Payment: $468/-. (I'm paying the Acq fee $700/- upfront).

It went up by $10/month because they added the lifestyle hitch, cross bars, trunk privacy cover & other small stuff - worth just under $1000/-.

Out the door was $7100/- that included the above & first month payment.

    Remaining payments for 38 months @ $468/-.

TOTAL Cost of lease (excl insurance, maint, wear & tear, etc.) Approx $21,000/- = $538/month.

    Hope the above helps somebody.

That is still a good payment, relative to MSRP. $18/mo more on a vehicle that stickers for $5K more?

always wondered if MSD was a good thing or not. Realizing you get it back at the end of the lease. Is is a fight to get it back, or is it a fairly easy process? I was always told leasing is about putting a little down as possible.
Does the amount rounded up to the nearest $50 of the monthly payment, fluctuate as you buy MSD or does it start off at where your payment is before the MSD is applied and never changes? For example if my monthly is $509, then the MSD per is $550, but if I apply 8 MSD payments, the monthly is rounded up monthly would not be $450.
So is per MSD the 550 or where the payment ends and then round up to the nearest $50.
Thoughts or comments on this anyone?

We always recommend MSDs. Not heard of any issues getting the money back in the end.

I believe Infiniti uses the pre MSD payment to determine the size of each SD.

MSD lowers the rate & it has worked for me. Only a few car manufacturers offer it & even then, the dealer may not 'cough' it up if you ask him. In my case, they had to 'call' Infiniti Financial & validate. And were told the maximum was $4400/-.

If you are really into finance & math (analysis paralysis), you can calculate the NPV & Future Value of the $4400/- and compare it to the higher the lease payment you would pay. For me, financially, it made sense to 'invest' this $4400/- as opposed to paying a higher payment+interest for the $4400/- for the 39 months.

    G'luck.

good info on the MSD guys. really appreciate the assistance. I can see how it is better than just a down payment, may not have the same impact in reducing the monthly, but definitely a good thing. This is a great forum, thanks edmunds!

MSD reduces the monthly payment. My example: W/out MSD the MF was, I believe .0001 = 2.4%. After the $4400/- MSD, my interest dropped down to 0.24%. (Yes your credit scores do come into play.)

One of the disadvantages of MSD, I learnt, was if you decide to swap your lease, your MSD goes to the new lessee.

I second the value of this forum. Been very instrumental for research purposes. Thank you Edmunds & the moderators.

I think his point is, and what most people focus on.. is that using that MSD money as a CAP reduction results in a much lower payment... But, of course, more money out of pocket, in the long run.

Some people can't get over that, though.

Hi, wondering if this is a good deal?
    Qx50 essential msrp 57555
Invoice 54175 10k lease (.0009 and 61%) Nj tax rolled into the lease
500 rebate as I own a competitor car so upfront is only 1400 which includes title/1st month/doc and dmv
    554.44/month

I think they can do better but what do the experts think?

What is the adjusted cap cost the dealer is using for that quote?
