Good deal, or keep trying? 2018 CR-V

Hi,

New to the forum as a poster, but reading everything, you guys are amazing and the info is super helpful. Buying (or possibly leasing) our first new car, 2018 CRV EX AWD Olive. I've got a couple dealers vying for the sale. Here's where I stand with the best offer:

Selling price $26,864.59 (includes destination $995 in Mass)
Government fees $175.00
Doc fees $329.00
Total Taxes $1699.60
Total price $29,068.19

With an MSRP of $29,325 I feel like this is a pretty solid offer, but could I still be a ways away?

I've asked them about any surprise fees tacked on when we come in, dealer prep, ad fees, paperwork fees...anything else I should watch for? Any advice on which ones I can't negotiate down or away?

Finally, lease or buy? I just can't decide. If I lease what else should I watch out for?

The lease program is not good. Stick with a purchase

Well, I kept pushing and ended up with what I think is a pretty good deal:

26,141
1654.41 tax
329 doc fee
5 application for title
170 registration
28,300 out the door

Ended up purchasing as opposed to lease.
