    I got this additional info from dealer, is this decent? Is residual based on msrp? Which puts msrp at 38k

    The residual for 36 months and 12,000 miles/year is 59% ($22,676.65). Subject to credit approval, the MF is .00184. $493.77 per month is the total payment and includes all tax, tag, and dealer fees.

    I just leased the odyssey exl with 0 down, i did pay one payment of 493 so that leaves me 35 payments. I was told NC dmv will send me a bill for property tax which is about 1.5% of price. Is that normal? Or was dealer supposed to pay for first year of property tax? The email i got says all tax were included in the monthly payment of 493

    Do I still need to pay property tax on the leased vehicle each year? The email I got from the dealer says the monthly payment including all tax tag and fees. I’m confused. Do I need to be paying property tax on a vehicle I don’t really own?

    Yes.. property tax is your responsibility. Not included in the lease deal.

    Even though I’m leasing it I still pay property tax? Isn’t dealer the owner of the vehicle and supposed to pay property tax? Like a house owner not the tenant pay property tax?

    The dealer doesn't own the car, Honda Finance does.
    And, technically, the state considers them the payer of the property tax.
    But, your lease contract states that you will pay the property taxes on the vehicle. And, your state won't let you register the vehicle if they aren't paid. So, that makes you responsible for them.

    This is the way it works for every leased car, in every state that has a property tax.

    I am in San Jose, CA area and currently starting my search for a 2018 EX-L lease with 12k/36 or 15K/36 month lease term. Is there someone from CA who did a similar lease deal, or who knows the local California MSRP, selling price, MF, residual value that I should target? What is the tax inclusive monthly cost assuming 0 down I should target for this area and time of year? Does July 4 bring any special sale/discounts that I should consider waiting for? Many thanks in advance!

    Hello! Was wondering if I could get the MF and RV for an 18 Odyssey EX in WI for a 3 year 36K lease? I have a 15 looking to turn in that I lease currently and with out even looking at the specifics the dealership is quoting me 500/month on an EX with no money down. Might have some positive equity in the current van but are the deals really that bad with Honda right now?? I have requested the specifics for the numbers as to how they got to this but any other insight would be appreciated. Thank You!!

    Does Honda historically change the MF or RV to assist sales of older models odyssey's? I know the 2019 is coming out for sale and with the current MF and RV expiring 07/05 should I wait for 07/06 to see the new MF and RV for the 2018 EX-L to save me money? I've tried looking online for trends but didn't see anything. Thank you

    With a $0 down lease what should I come in at at payment? (Rolling all taxes and fees)

    Finance payments are pretty simple. You just have to know the amount financed.
