What does the $2500 up front consist of?

Base MF, which is good, but not much of a discount from sticker, given the incentive.

to be honest I’m not quite sure. I told the sales rep what I wanted, no money down no trade in and that’s what I got. Can’t figure out where that 2510 came from

So I've reached out to both Mini dealerships in Denver (Loveland and Schomp) as well as Santa Fe NM, Sandia NM, Murray (Utah) and Jackie Cooper Mini. All of them quoted me .00202 and say that they will not reduce/negotiate the Money Factor. Meanwhile I see so many people on this thread getting the base rate... I wonder if it might be any different if I were a man!!

Ask the dealer for a breakdown; if they don't want to be transparent about it, I'd be leery about doing business with that dealer.

Hmmm.

I hate to say this, but do you have a male friend who you can call in to assist? If you're concerned you're getting taken advantage of because of your gender, then flip the script and see if it really does matter, or if the dealers are equal opportunity gougers.

Anyone have a reasonable ballpark on discount for a demo with 2k miles on it? It's the Countryman S Iconic FWD if that makes any difference. They are giving me $1000 off + $500 conquest, but then they are adding $595 on for window tint... Thanks

If you were leasing, the 2000 miles would only lower the residual by $500.

Not surprised that they are only giving you $1000 off.... but, that wouldn't get me excited.

I'm looking for rv/mf for MINI Cooper 2 door hardtop 2019 automatic for 36/10K in 21231. Also interested in the same for 2018 models.

I know of a $500 new MINI driver incentive and a $500 new grad incentive. Any other currently running incentive programs or bargaining points to be aware of?

In a bit of a rush to lease before my current car kicks the bucket but also trying not to get taken for a ride!

got this deal, seems off. dealer says money factor is set at .00202 by BMW. They came back at $480 per month including 1k down payment and the $500 lease conquest included. Not sure what the additional 2k in sales tax is, that must be more dealer fee's etc. In WI tax should be on monthly payment.

Base money factor for all MINIs is .00162

Dealer has marked it up the maximum.

Obviously, not disclosing the actual numbers for the lease, given that sales tax number.

Went to a second dealer in wisconsin and came across this deal
msrp 40,135
-2000 national courtesy rebate
- 500 lease conquest
- 250 fleet discount
negotiated price 37,385
3 year 10k miles
only upfront payment, plates etc.
came back at $510 per month. At that point we just left. I'm coming to the conclusion leasing a mini is not like leasing anything else. to lease a 37k car for 510 a month seems out of whack. The dealer had a take it or leave it approach and said unlike american car brands they have no room to discount off sticker. We've leased 6 cars so far and this was the highest payment for one of the cheaper cars.
