No incentives - they are still trying to move 2018 inventory.

No lease numbers yet for the 2019 Velar with the diesel engine.

Hard to predict with LR, what the numbers will do.

Thanks for your information. I had been looking at a 2018 Velar and hoped to work something out last weekend with possibly some extra savings for Labor Day. Did not find a 2018 and it looks like there are not many left so I am now looking at 2019 models.

Can you provide the current MF and residual values on 2019 P280 R-Dynamic SE and HSE, 36 and 39 month with 12k per year? I am in Orange County, CA and zip code is 92627

I have a general question for the discussion, I just had my local dealer give me some info on a 2019 R-Dynamic SE, MSRP $66411, 36 month lease and 12k miles and 58% residual. He quoted me monthly rent/mf of $181.77!!

I asked him if he made a mistake and he said no and that the best terms. I told him no thanks obviously...

Anyone had similar term offered to them?

LR dealers like to go for broke on their first quote. No discounting, massively marked up MF, anything and everything they can.

This is quite common, sadly.

It's an incentive to move the old model. And, to make up for the lower residual on the 2018.

Is the residual value set by the manufacturer, bank , or dealer? One is telling me for the 2018 velar r dynamic se 51% , while another is telling me 55%. Also the MF does your credit score affect what your MF is going to be?

The leasing bank sets the residual value.

If it's different, then here are the possibilities:
1) Quoting different trims
2) Quoting different term/mileage
3) Quoting a different leasing bank
4) Quoting different model years

Yes, less than top-tier credit will bring higher rates.
But, dealers can also markup your rate for extra profit, regardless of your credit

Also did any of you purchase any of the protection plans. My friend told me they have Land Rover Maintenance plan, another that covers the replacement of brake pad, rotors, blades, appearance and windshield plan, another plan for tire and wheel (I will be purchasing one from outside which covers dents, key replacement).
