  Could a dealer alter the residual at all? I was just told 61% on that same scenario.

  Residual is fixed by the bank - the numbers we quote are from Audi Financial.
  
  Confirm what bank the dealer is using.

  i have leased an 2018 audi a4 last year in dec 2017 for 36/15 and have got a great deal on my car. i want to give it in and get a new lease for 2019 audi s5 sportback. Do you think it is a good idea to get the car. what numbers should i be looking into?

  I would absolutely not end your lease 2 years early; it will cost you a ton of money to do so.
  
  I don't think the Sportback is going away anytime soon; ride our your current lease.
