For BMW, it's only .00030 less. Not worth it.

BMW has an MSD program that will knock .00035 off the money factor.

For BMW, it's only .00030 less. Not worth it. BMW has an MSD program that will knock .00035 off the money factor.

I have been tasked with finding the ideal 2019 7-Series, a replacement for a 2016 740i RWD (B-Day gift for mother). The car was taken delivery of on December 28, 2015, but for the past several months father has been getting offers from local dealer on both M850i and 2019 7-Series. The lease ends in late March.

The main concern is, he's not willing to do another lease, unless it's close to the current lease amount (which is slightly under $1800 per month; 39 months), and the replacement vehicle must be equivalent or better than what they have now (on 740i) feature-wise. We live in West Texas. I am only involved in arranging this for them, based on perceived industry expertise, but I typically never deal with BMW nor leasing.

Current 2016 740i RWD equipped as:

MSRP of $102,495

(Similar 2019 740i Example)

ZDB Driver Assistance Plus ($1,900)

ZDT Driver Assistance Plus II ($1,700)

ZEC Executive Package ($4,100)

ZID Interior Design Package ($400)

Adding Rear Entertainment Professional and Front Massaging Seats as a requirement (was annoying how current 740i neglected the latter option, yet included rear massaging seats in Option ZLU).

Local El Paso dealer was only able to find a 2019 750i RWD, priced at $127,940 and will truck it in from undisclosed location.

I have pinpointed this exact 750i above, to a BMW dealer outside Houston (EP dealer doesn't know that), but not sure if a dealer trade or similar might affect any discounts.

This is what it has (provided by local dealer):

What would be a best possible (realistic) deal on this 2019 750i? I've figured TT&L of about $8,400, but any protection plans I'm unsure what the cost would be. Plus the fact, current 2016 came with free maintenance. This 2019 won't.
Lease amount of no more than $200 higher than the current car.

Current 2016 740i RWD is under-$1800, leased at sticker in December 2015 and no discounts were added, because of the G12 redesign and only BMW dealer only for 4 hours. Weak trade-in (old Jaguar for $1,500). Grand total was over $126k.

At this point, 2020s (LCI) are coming soon and I feel it's not asking too much. Or am I expecting too much?
Ideally, $10,000-$15,000 off seems fair, as I've seen in parts of Texas and all the way in Atlanta and California where you see up to $20k off. Just seems that my local El Paso dealer and holding dealer of this car, are not discounting on their websites. We haven't brought up numbers yet with the EP dealer nor know what to expect.

Last Saturday, a voicemail was left for my father, in that they found what was desired options-wise (white 750i above) and would give a great deal on it to "match" the current vehicle.

One thing I noticed on it are, the 650M wheels are an unwanted tacky $5,500 add-on, compared to typical M Sport double 5-spoke wheels.

Is it possible to ask our local dealer to replace them with a regular set of 647M or 648M ($0.00 to $1,300) wheels, versus this peculiar $5,500 add-on? Seems like the Houston dealer added them instead, versus the factory in Dingolfing, Germany. Basically port-installed.

There is a difference between port-installed and dealer-installed. From your paperwork, it appears the wheels are port-installed, and on the window sticker. So, a dealer isn't going to swap wheels for no charge, or take these off the price.

With Texas collecting tax on the full selling price, that would be a big stretch, and unlikely.

Oh wow, I see. Hopefully at $1,900 works? I honestly did wonder why our 2016 740i is at nearly $1800 per month ($102k sticker), yet one sees more expensive 2019 750i examples at $1700?

You can only see them on BMW accessory websites, but I guess it doesn't make a difference in terms whether the dealer paid for them as part of the car before delivery or after PDI upon arrival, to jack up the price by $5500?

According to the printout you provided, they are not dealer installed. If they were, they wouldn't be part of the MSRP.

I trust your expertise and see what you mean, but I see it listed as an accessory, so someone tacked them on. It sucks, because this fits more on a M3 or M4, than a land barge. It's an unwelcome waste of money to us, because preference towards the cheaper 648M. Dealer won't budge unfortunately with removing/reducing, since they are doing a trade for it.

On the holding dealer's website, I got this ridiculous figure of $2,312 per month. Taxes and fees estimate to be $8,021. I really do not understand why this would even be the case with the monthly figure. It seems unusually ludicrous and is obviously a jacked up money factor.

We are meeting with dealer in 2 hours, to secure the vehicle, but I don't know about if they will try and overcharge for it, because of being the only BMW dealer for 4 hours, nationally (Sandia BMW) and internationally (BMW Chihuahua).

I just don't want to arrive there unprepared, for any BS tactics. I'm trying to gather all necessary info, so my father isn't blindsided by dealer. Even though a 40-years practicing physician, he's just more used to buying/financing, than leasing. I feel he got suckered in my opinion, on paying $1,800 a month for a $102k 740i.

Save for no feedback, decided to go with that very $128k 750i at $1,980 for 36/10 with taxes and fees. Dealer refused to go down to even $1,900 flat.

Hi, new to the forum, please bear with me since I don't understand some technical terms. 2019 750 Xdrive msrp 108k. dealer offering 3 years 10k miles/year - $1350/month including taxes which are 10% on a lease in PA. $5k at signing (1st month, lease fee, down payment, doc fees etc.) residual is 59k I think
