Hi there! My 2016 Q5 premium plus with nav lease is up and I’m looking at getting into a 2018 Q5 tech package.

also, I typically buy Audi care upfront. Is that a good idea.

We don't have any lease numbers on the 2019 Q5; but, I'm willing to bet the MF is nowhere close to .00147.

That's a big payment with a lot of up front money to be the first on the block with a 2019.

I have an updated dealer quote for a 2018 P+ tech to be registered in DC/ 20002 - would welcome any insights - I think the lease sales tax is 10% but not sure.

Yes, MF is marked up by the dealer, for extra profit.

Yes, RV goes up 1% with AudiCare.

Get those items sorted first, before going any further with the negotiations.

I get $493/mo, before tax, with those prices; dealer quote looks to be about right.

MSDs are always a good idea. You may also want to consider adding AudiCare, as that adds 1% to the residual.

MSD - multiple security deposit

Each SD is the monthly payment, rounded up to the next highest $25, and reduces the MF by .00005. A maximum of 9 SDs are allowed.

The beauty of the MSD program is that the monies you put up for it are returned to you at the end of the lease.

48 month term is not supported

36/10: .00147 MF and 56% residual
42/10: .00167 MF and 54% residual

7.5K/yr adds 1% to the residual.

Once you start the lease, you can't change your mileage allowance

I would urge you to take 10K/yr, if there is even a chance of going over 7.5K/yr. No one wants to spend $600/mo on a vehicle, then not drive it, because of mileage allowances.

Adj cap 49928.02, there’s a sales tax credit for Texas so just have to pay the L&M fee.
I added Audi Care for 1% to residual now at 55%. Same monthly.
