MF seems pretty low. Should that be 55% (0.00023)?

  • Apparently the 2019 EcoSport is not out yet. Will you please provide the MF and RV for the EcoSport Titanium FWD, 36/12, for zip 75019? Any incentives? Looks like Ford website is showing $3000 in incentives but I wasn't sure if that is accurate or available for leasing. Thank you:)

Can I get an updated list on 2018 Ecosport Titanium AWD? 36/13.5 and 39/13.5 and incentives (being told there's 4000 in incentives) 32792 and not sure if it matters if I'm doing X-Plan or not. -- was told today that the MF on 39/13.5 was 143 and 1 on 36/13.5 -- guy was a bit suspect

Here's what's being laid out to me

    13.5 miles/39 months (they'll make first payment) - $375 a month - $0 out of pocket
    13.5 mies/39 months (they'll make first payment) - $386-$390 a month - $0 out of pocket

I’ll have to go back to them to get those numbers. I remember that at the end of the lease the purchase price was $12,739 (36 month) but that’s all that sticks out

    Here we go...

    2018 EcoSport - Titanium 2.0L AWD

    Retail Value - $28,235.00
    Savings - $791.07
    Lease Cash - $4,000
    Adjusted Sales Price - $23,443.93

Added Accessories (I will ask that these charges/features be removed...) - $349.90
    Trade Value - $0
    Trade Differences - $23,793.83
*Pre Delivery Service Charge - $24,000.33

    36 months GFV - Monthly: $389-$399 ($0 down) - residual is $12,705.75
    39 months GFV - Monthly: $375-$385 ($0 down) - residual is $12,423.40

I do wonder if Sales Tax is based in this number (32792 - 7% sales tax)

    This 13,500 mile lease.

I am being told there are no other fees. I'm also being told by another dealer that this deal is too good, that he doesn't know how they're coming to these numbers.

Well, something is off, as I get the following payments, tax included:

    36/13.5 - $347/mo
    39/13.5 - $333/mo

Get the dealer to confirm two numbers for you:

The "adjusted cap cost" they used for their quote - I used the $24,000 number you provided
The APR they used - I used the .70% and .95%, accordingly.

One of those two numbers is different, to account for the higher quoted payment.

Email sent --- Is there a good calculator that you'd recommend either online or in an app on the phone that I can use to plug in all these numbers to get what you're coming to? If I'm recalling, he quoted 1.43% on 39 months for the APR to me and said that was Tier 0.

    Thanks - here's their response.

Cory - 1) For the quote - what was the adjusted cap cost (I'm assuming $24,400.33 but would want confirmation).

Ford Dealer: It is $25371.72 due to some of the rebate being used to make your payment, pay your tax on cap reduction, fees, and tags

Cory - 2) What was the APR used in the quote in the 36 and 39 month terms?

Ford Dealer: No APR as this is a lease. Money Factor is 1.0

    (UMMM - MF is 1? That's 2400% interest no?)

Now what's interesting is that in my negotiations because I was making my final lease payment on my current lease (a Mustang) that they'd make the first payment on this EcoSport. But the manager's response (the salesperson is out until Thursday) makes no sense. He's saying that some of the rebate is being used to make my payment, pay tax on cap reduction, fees and tags.. In the State of Florida, we pay taxes on Cap reduction?

    36/13.5 - .70% and 45%
    39/13.5 - .95% and 44%
    $3250 lease cash

What is the MSRP and selling price / adjusted cap cost associated with those quotes?
I’ll have to go back to them to get those numbers. I remember that at the end of the lease the purchase price was $12,739 (36 month) but that’s all that sticks out
Let us know what they say - who knows what we might find buried into that number?
    Here we go...

    2018 EcoSport - Titanium 2.0L AWD

    Retail Value - $28,235.00
    Savings - $791.07
    Lease Cash - $4,000
    Adjusted Sales Price - $23,443.93

Added Accessories (I will ask that these charges/features be removed...) - $349.90
    Trade Value - $0
    Trade Differences - $23,793.83
*Pre Delivery Service Charge - $24,000.33

    36 months GFV - Monthly: $389-$399 ($0 down) - residual is $12,705.75
    39 months GFV - Monthly: $375-$385 ($0 down) - residual is $12,423.40

I do wonder if Sales Tax is based in this number (32792 - 7% sales tax)

    This 13,500 mile lease.

Went in this evening to see how they’re coming to their numbers and am being told that the manager that can get the Vincent file (thick Spanish accent but sure did sound like Vincent) wasn’t available so they couldn’t get me the breakdown.

I'll guess that's an on-line program they use for lease payments.
Seems like they'd have a hard time leasing vehicles without it.
