    What I meant was am I paying extra for a 30 month lease some how via higher MF or something I’m missing or should I take the lower payment and higher residual?

    With those numbers, I'd guess the payment will be slightly higher on the 30 month term (more so on the GT). But, a lot will depend on the level of discount and adjusted CAP. If these vehicles had really high incentives and/or big discounts, that might push the advantage to the shorter term. But, I don't think that applies to this model.

    IIRC, there was a bigger advantage last month, by going with 30 or 39 months, but I don't see it this month. Salespeople and finance get it in their head that a certain term is advantageous, but numbers don't have to move very much to change that. Especially, once you start rolling in acquisition fees, etc. (since those get amortized over fewer months, on a shorter term lease).

    I'd definitely have them run the numbers both ways. Keep in mind, if you put a lot of money upfront, it will skew the payments lower on the shorter term, but your average cost per month won't be any better.

    I'm looking to lease a 2019 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring AWD with the premium package with cargo shade and all weather mats. They want $399 a month for 39 months, 12K a year and $2,500 out of pocket for title, license, and fees. Is this a good deal? Some are telling me it's too much. Zip code 11520
