I have used the MB GLK 350 (21 mpg PUG) / 250 BT (37 mpg ULSD) contrast/example. Most folks snore/sneeze @ 76.2% better mpg. So, the guess is the E15 PUG version will probably lose approximately 1 mpg (over E10) to =20 MPG.
So over 18,000 miles commute per year, it might beg the question: why use ULSD 486.5 gal, when PUG 900 gal will do? 🤪

I have been using 5w 40. (older 229.52 specification) The newer specification includes 3, 0w-30, 5w-30, 0w-40 weights. The local MB dealer put in 5w30, so I can expect a little better mpg. (.5 mpg @ best)
Decided after 5 + yrs to change the windshield wipers.
Naturally a wash increases mpg, hp/torque.😂😜

Given the recent GLK 250 BT changes: new tires, alignment, lighter viscosity oil (5w40 to 5w30) & ultra heavy traffic, there are almost ZERO changes to the 37 mpg to report (561 gal/15 gal=37.4) ???
So this latest commute mpg shift (from 36 to 37.4) might save about 3.74 % (18.7 gal) of ULSD over 18,000 miles.
I've been meaning to ask, where did you come up with 21 mpg for the GLK on PUG?
18k miles is a lot, at least over the average, so I would expect it to be higher.
Yes. It’s (18,000 miles per year) over the 11,000 miles to 14,000 miles, US averages.

I’m guessing no real surprises to the next low fuel warning lamp ( 563 miles + @ 37.5 mpg, 14 MB GLK 250 BT) tankful’s mpg.
A couple of my vehicles have stop/start. It makes a noticeable improvement in overall mileage.

The local unions and the local city/s that has hosted the local refinery/s since before WW2, put the kaibosh on a $2 B? (as I remember, & union labor upgrades) Chevron’s upgrade to process WTI-like (lighter) oil. Since the lighter oils have less sulfur and less pollutants, the blocking of the upgrade was/remains inexplicable.
It would appear that locals to federal government care more for regimes like Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, etc.,than USA based oil ventures.
I was following it from afar so to speak & made bets against it happening, even as I believed it GOOD in most ways. I truly hope that Chevron et al. had that hedged. I’m sure Chevron, vendors & unions lost MILLIONS of $$’s in the planning & marketing, etc., portions.
