In Philadelphia suburbs Saturday 2/9. 2019 Accord Touring 2.0 36/16k. Quoted roughly $489 with $2,200 due at signing, includes NJ tax. The salesman asked if he could find another $1000 off (taking it down to approx $460) could get the deal done, and I declined. That’s just too much for a $37k Honda.

I ended up with a $46K MSRP Acura TLX SH-AWD V6 A-Spec for $475 a month $1900 due at signing.

The Accord, especially the Touring, is a great car for the money if you plan to purchase, but the lease pricing is just too high at this time.

My two biggest complaints regarding the Accord, road noise and lousy stereo, are actually two positives on the Acura. The TLX is really quiet, and the ELS sound system is great. I also get AWD and a V6.

Hmm... well I asked them for a sign and drive lease, so maybe that's why? The $2370.16 difference would be rolled into the lease, giving me a monthly payment of $405, based on the numbers they gave me.

Dropping the $799 gives a cap cost of $26668.77, which gives me $380, but that should actually be less because cap cost included the 1st month payment, which should be lower without the $799.

I'm going to try to ask for $23,000 for the sale price. It seems dramatically low, but maybe they'll bite.

Sorry, that term slipped out from my days working in a BDC many moons ago. Most of the nationally-advertised programs I've seen when I've been lease shopping have been based on 12K miles a year. I don't recall ever seeing 15K, although that may just be the timing of when I've been shopping versus what Honda has offered nationally.

There is no "S" trim.

No way that should be over $330/mo, with those numbers. (even then, not a great deal)
