For Hyundai, what you propose does seem to make sense. A friend of a friend did that with a Kona some months back. And, found out that the rent charge for future payments are not charged if you buy out the lease. But, not sure you can get $3000 off sticker, before the incentives

Oh, I actually did that exact deal just today. I just sure hope u are right about the monthly rent charge on future payments, regarding the payoff.

Sorry for the big image.. not sure you're familiar with Honckers, but they're advertising that the monthly fee includes tax.
MSRP is $28,525. They do not reveal the cap cost and all the other details, but just the monthly and DAS fee.
For 24months / 12K per year, isn't this a pretty good deal?

We won't be able to validate the numbers, and without the cap cost, we'd only be guessing.

But, relative to MSRP, that's a decent payment, depending on what the up front cash is for.

The MSRP on that same trim I posted above was $30,545...and they only offered $2500 in incentives bringing their offer to $28,045

Out of the $4,250 in total incentives that you listed above, why did they only say $2500 was available? I was pressed for time and told them I would be back to begin negotiating, but I wanted to make sure I had all available information ready to go.

Any help or info you can add to help me in the negotiation would be very helpful. Thank you all!

Maybe, they were giving you a purchase quote? Purchase and lease incentives are not always the same.
