    All of those insurance plans are killing your lease payment.
    At least you get something for the AudiCare (maintenance).

    So the dealer updated the deal to $3K drive away price. The salesperson said they'll basically discount the car and adjust MF so we're paying $650/month with $3K down.

    5.00% APR to get it down to $800/mo.

    That is marked up from the Audi's base rate of 4.49% on this vehicle.
    With the base rate, the payment would be $788.17.

    Discount of $4000 seems decent for a 2019 Q5.

    Economics aren't any different than a lease, really. You are just paying for the entire vehicle, instead of renting it.
