Honda's best rate is good through Tier 8.
So, any credit score from 660+ gets the best rate.

Based on the information I’ve gathered here, I was going to make an offer to the dealership as follows. Can you check my math and thinking?

I’m interested in the 2019 Honda CRV EX AWD.
I would like to lease for 36 months with 12,000 miles per year.
Based on the information I have found online this vehicle in March is leasing at an interest rate/money factor of .00240 and a residual of 62%.
I’d like to offer the following terms:
Selling price of $27,394 should work out to a payment of $385 a month, including taxes (7% NJ) with nothing down. I will pay out of pocket expenses (bank fee, registration, first month, etc) assumed to be about $1,000 based on my history.

$29,695 is the MSRP I see online (although Honda’s website has conflicting information about the destination charge, one place says $995 another says $1,045...I went with the higher).

I agree with your math.

It's possible that certain units were built and stickered, before the destination fee was raised.

Do you have any feedback on the selling price? Based on the popularity of the model I thought $500 above invoice was a strong starting point but could be a touch unrealistic.

looking for a 2019 crv EX with zero drive off and around $300 payment. I went to my first dealer today and got offered a JOKE: a discount of $500, a security deposit of $400ish, and a monthly payment of around $450.

Obviously I’m going somewhere else, but is my sale goal feasible?

To date have not had much luck on a 36/12 sign and drive lease on a CRV EXL AWD. Was getting prices of around $459/AHFC/39 months/sales tax of 8.625% rolled in.....1st + DMV.
Looked at the Subaru Outback which has a much better m/f but undecided.
Extended my current CRV lease to see if things loosen up a little but not expecting much......Have until mid April to figure it out. The CRV m/f of .0024 equates to 6% so unless there are incentives it will not change much.

Not likely to see any reductions in the MF anytime soon. Was January 2019 before we saw support on the 2018 CR-V.

Get the Outback - the lease deals on them are as good as they're gonna get, with a brand new model likely to be released later this year.
