What is the current money factor, residual (12k/36 months), tax incentives, and MSRP discount on a 2019 Camry SE in Texas for a lease? Thanks for your time.

    Thanks for the help. I would like an opinion on these numbers. The dealership I went to quoted me:

    MSRP: $25560
    Capitalized Cost: $23592
    Residual Value: 60.78%
    MF: .00150
    Monthly Rate: $288.71

    Are these numbers too good to be true? Also, a salesman told me that Toyota vehicles are not taxed when you lease them compared to when you finance to own. Are they being untruthful? Thank you for your time.

    The residual percentage is applied to the MSRP, not the CAP cost.

    Technically, all vehicles in TX are taxed on their full selling price, buy or lease. But, it's possible that TFS is offering tax credits, that reduces the tax from 6.25% to 1.25%. (it's a weird TX thing, related to the return of leased vehicles at lease end). If that is the case, it's a big incentive.

    That looks like an excellent payment for TX. What is the amount Due at Signing with that quote?

    I'd want to know if it's a TFS lease (probably is)

    The lessor is Toyota Lease Trust I believe. I have one final odd question. I’ve never seen a quote formatted like this. This is the print that was sent to me. Some of the rows have no numbers, which I was told would be $0. Can they add those numbers later?

    I really don't understand how the residual is so high, and how there is no tax.

    But, they won't fill in amounts later. If they did, it would change the payment, and that number will be on the contract.

    The calculated payment is correct, given the numbers they provided. But, I have no idea how they got those numbers.

    This dealer and you are both in Texas?

    Yes, we're both in Texas. The row numbered (21), "Total Add Caps: (w): $1012.10", is all the fees added up, Acquisition, License, Inspection, Title, Document, Road and Bridge, and Deputy Fee.
    I am planning to travel 2.5hrs to another city for this deal.

    That amount looks right. The acquisition fee alone is $650.
