    selling price is 23118.36. the MF they gave me is 0.00001

    the total drive off of 1585 includes first month payment, dmv, an acquisition fee of $675, doc fee of 85, tires and smog abatement fee. I have never heard of smog abatement fee and tires on a lease. is that normal?

    I'm not sure how they get .00001 MF, but I get the same payment, using that MF, and $23118 as the adjusted CAP.

    Yes, tire and smog fees go to CA, and are normal. Those two fees are rather small, right?
    $295 first payment
    $300 DMV (including smog and tire)
    $675 acq.fee
    Anything else in the drive-off? $1585 seems a little high.

    My first inclination is that the $3200 discount is not enough, given the $2625 VW-to-dealer incentive, but the lower money factor makes up for that, somewhat.
