What is the adjusted CAP cost?

Don't know the cost of tire/wheel protection, but it is almost always over-priced. I'd pass on it.

No money deposit or document signed yet but "committed" to a vehicle arriving on May 27th at one dealership.
I got a followup message from a competing dealership salesperson. Sent a reply that we are no longer in the market. He responded:
"No worries if you know of anyone interested Mercedes did give us $100,000 in incentives to use for customers this weekend. Thank you."

Does this actually happen? Are there manufacturer incentives that are not announced and just allocated willy nilly? Or is this a sales tactic to try to lure us back to the dealership?

They claimed that was with RV of 59% and MF of .00019 but I can't recreate those numbers with calculators online. I was expecting in the $850-900 range.

Any advice/help is appreciated and thanks in advance for the numbers.

That would be my guess.. marked up the money factor and inadvertently added a zero.

worked out the following deal on 2020 GLE350
MSRP $61415 (Selenite grey, premium 1, MBUX augmented nav, Surround view, panoramic roof)
+ 3yr/30k maintenance plan $1175

Selling price $3190 off (originally $3000 off but the monthly was over $700 so I asked the dealer to get it to $700 at least... and they hit it on the dot by taking off a little more)
$1095 acquisition fee
and i forget the exact doc fee but it was about $125ish
DMV registration $540ish

36 months, 10k miles/yr
59% residual

base MF 0.00142
10x security deposit $8000 to bring MF down to 0.00072
$3000 down
no incentive obviously

total driveoff $12,763.83

$639.27/month before tax
CA sales tax 9.5%
$700/month with CA sales tax

i don't like it...
but given that there is such shortage of available cars with surround view camera which my wife MUST have
and there is zero incentive available
i don't think i can do much better than this

3) Is there any expected discount for paying in "cash" (time present value of money)

3) The bank pays the dealer immediately, whether you finance or pay cash. So, time value means nothing to the dealer
4) Possibly, but we don't have info on that.

Depends on the software the dealer is using.

I've seen screen shots with the MF disclosed, and other without.

Correct. But, on the actual lease contract, you will see the "Rent Charge". That is the finance portion of the lease payment multiplied by the term. If you've done your calculations beforehand, you can see how this matches up. Large differences will be readily apparent.
