if I have a GMS code, what is the discount? I have read things like 9-10%, or don’t bother negotiating, just tell them and you get the invoice pricing plus current rebates.
If for example I chose a Yukon Denali with a MSRP of $75,875 and price of $63,490. How could I determine the invoice price?

No information on the Supplier code, or what it does to the pricing.

Can a dealer mess with the residual and money factor numbers?

I called a dealer to get a quote on a 36mo 10k Yukon SLT lease.

slt had

open road package

trailer package

slt premium package

incentives I qualify for:

conquest $1000 (I see online it is $1500) own a VW Touareg.

See two lease bonus offers (do I get both?) from GM

$1750

$1000

lease loyalty

$2000 - currently lease an 16 Acadia SLT

msrp 66,570

dealer said he took off $3,000

incentives he calculated was $4750

sticker price - $58,820

residual -54% (you told me 56%)

MF - .00198 (you told me .00179)

0 down 36mo x 10k

$874/mo plus tax

He told me the residual is 54% and the money factor is .00198 both of which are higher than what you provided me earlier this week which obviously affect the payment.

First dealer I contacted but most likely will be shopping elsewhere.

Thanks. I asked for 10k and 12k on OP. 2wd only.

This dealer is stating that every vehicle residual and MF are different even within the SLT lines because of the different features one may or may not have.

Is that true? I see they change between SLE, SLT, Denali trims but thought they stayed the same within each Trim regardless of optional features added.

On SLTs, we only show a difference between 2WD and 4WD.

Gotcha.

But does GM require all dealers to follow the same policy where the only difference in the SLT line is between the 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive? Or can the dealer set its own values for residual and MF within the SLT line, or Denali, etc.?

Also, is the conquest incentive of $1500 still valid? At first the sales manager says it was. Now he is saying it is no longer valid but Edmunds shows it under the lease incentive option still.

The residual is set by the bank, and the dealer is not allowed to alter it.

The base MF (which we quote) is also set by the bank, but the dealer can mark it up for extra profit.
